| What time of day does your Yorkie eat more?? Hello Everyone... I'm noticing a trend with Snickers and wanted to make sure it was an OK one. He seems to eat the most during his dinner time (around 4:30/5pm) and will eat the most at this time. He does not eat much, but in the morning, he barely touches his food (maybe will eat 10 kibbles max), in the afternoon his dad gives him a few apple slices and puts his kibble out again and he will not touch it. The only time it seems he has any kibble interest is on the evening where again he won't eat much, but will eat more. Is this normal?? You have no idea how much this is stressing me out b/c he does not eat much and I want him to eat!! I don't know if he is starving himself all day and then just eats in the evening b/c he is so hungry or what!? He is so picky and we have stuck to his schedule like glue. Thanks....

| I keep food out all day long for Casey. She is only 3lbs. so I like to make sure she has something to eat whenever she feels like it. I measure out her food and give her 1/4 cup. This usually takes her two days to eat this much. She likes to eat later in the evenings...from supper time til she goes to bed. Sometimes I worry that she isn't getting enough but I have learned just to watch her...she will eat when she gets hungry.

| We have our dogs on demand and they hardly eat at all during the day. They usually eat around 7-8 pm. We go to bed around 11 or so. Sometimes they poo before going to bed but always first thing in the AM. When we make scrambled eggs, they have some but that is not every day and they get apple and banana now and then. I don;t know if that is how we are supposed to do but so far it works. They are almost 9 mos and 4 1/2 mos. |

| It depends on what I am feeding.... I free feed kibble and it is down all day but they tend to eat just a little in the morning and snack on bits throughout the day , then around 6-8 p.m. they will eat the majority of it , but not all. BUT if I mix canned with their morning kibble they eat it ALL ! When I mix it with canned I just use a small amount of their daily portions of kibble... mix it with the canned and let them eat it.... then about an hour or so later I put the rest of their kibble down so they can free feed on for the rest of the day and more often than not they don't finish it all.

YT 2000 Club Member | I free feed, so mine snack all day. They get a small amount of canned in the late afternoon as more of a snack but they dont eat more at any certian time. My toy poodle (4 pounds) and Tucker (5 pounds) will usually share 1 full cup a day but sometimes they dont eat all of that.

| We freefeed kibble, and Nikko tends to eat two small meals in middle part of the day. He never wants much to do with food in the first few hours after he wakes up or the last few hours before it's bedtime. Lauren & Nikko |
