It depends on what I am feeding....
I free feed kibble and it is down all day but they tend to eat just a little in the morning and snack on bits throughout the day , then around 6-8 p.m. they will eat the majority of it , but not all.
BUT if I mix canned with their morning kibble they eat it ALL ! When I mix it with canned I just use a small amount of their daily portions of kibble... mix it with the canned and let them eat it.... then about an hour or so later I put the rest of their kibble down so they can free feed on for the rest of the day and more often than not they don't finish it all. |
