I free feed, so mine snack all day. They get a small amount of canned in the late afternoon as more of a snack but they dont eat more at any certian time. My toy poodle (4 pounds) and Tucker (5 pounds) will usually share 1 full cup a day but sometimes they dont eat all of that.
