Anyone Feeding Their Yorkies RAW?

yes i do mash it up!! and it is completely thawed.. sometimes after he eats..(whether if its dry food or canned food) he throws up right after.. I'm not sure if it is because he IS VERY ACTIVE. and he is running around like crazy that is making him throw up..or that he is burping and throwing up..it's strange.. i was thinking about taking him to the vet.. but i didnt think it was such a big deal..because it is normally RIGHT after he eats..and he likes to play a lot..

If he has a tendency to throw up after any kind of food like that, I'd really talk to a vet. One thing is that it could be too long btwn meals for him, causing excess bile that upsets the tummy a bit - then he eats, and he has a whole big pile in his tummy now making him nauseous. You might want to try feeding more frequently and see if that helps at all. Or, try feeding a little treat an hour before meal time. Still though, any time a dog vomits like you're describing, it's good to get it checked by a vet.

Snickers has REALLY REALLY bad food allergies, I've tried about everything. Dry food with no wheat, corn etc. all that bad stuff that dogs are usually allergic to. I've also tried feeding him MISSING LINK.. I feed my babies NV Raw because one of my dogs had severe allergies. That was 4 years ago and he's never looked better!!!!! Try a different flavor of NV Raw or add some boiled chicken. My yorkie didnt like it the beginning either but now she loves it.

I fed Harry boy, raw for a couple of weeks but after a while he refused to eat it, so we went back to Innova kibble mix with a bit of evo wet..

I just recently started raw with Lola. I can tell you she won't eat at all unless it's at least room temp. Just a thought.
