| I'm so sorry for all your trials right now. May God take care of all of them for you. My little Malt got a bad groom a couple of months ago & we are still recovering. It probably would be nice to call the groomer & tell them what has happened (not saying I would go back). Maybe it will straighten them out & save someone else's pup. Prayer for you & your dh. |

| You all overwhelm me. Thank you so much. HUGS! and more hugs! Yes, I will contact the groomer in a polite way just to let her know that he had a staph infection that was most likely a direct result of his grooming visit. I didn't think about the others she grooms. That's an excellent point. Gizmo is doing much better, and I have to search now to find any healing spots. We do not think it's the MRSI, but we will DEFINITELY finish all of his antibiotics even though he's healing nicely. I will try the shampoo recommended, if I can find it locally. Thank you for that information. I will also call the vet today to see what he recommends about the bathing and grooming for now. And yes, the wedding plans are fun and a blessing, and I know that with God's help, we'll find a way to handle John's medical issues no matter what. Thank you all!

| Donating YT 30K Club Member | Good to see you back!!! I will keep your husband in my prayers. As far as Gizmo Iwould wait to groom him. When Maya's staph infection got really bad they put her on an oral antibiotic that really got rid of it, but when it is just so so they give me a cream called panalog to put on daily. Hope Gizmo gets better real quick. That's great about your son that must be so exciting.

| So happy to see you back but sorry for everything bad that's going on in your life. I am so terribly sorry that John is sick. Poor Gizzy ... I can tell you everything "you never wanted to know" about Staph in humans but don't know anything about our babies having it. Patrick got a Staph infection in 2007 and it turned out to be the MRSA strain. It was horrible ... we were traveling back to Colorado and he was hospitalized in Topeka. I had to wear the yellow "bigbird" suit w/mask & gloves to go in to see him. When he began to improve, the only way they would consider discharging him was if they could teach me to "pack" and dress his wound where they had to do surgery! Geezzz ... I have never been so frightened ... I am not a nurse nor a "caregiver"! He got the infection from an injection he had to have after being bitten by our X son-in-law's American Bulldog! Patrick was UTD on Tetinus but they said he needed this shot ... they called it a "Rabies shot" ... I have no idea what it was but they certainly need to sterilize their instruments better! And, BTW, he didn't even get an apology for the dog biting him!!I'm thankful that little Gizzy didn't have to go through that. I have heard that a Staph infection is very dangerous ... can't imagine how bad it can be for a little one like Gizmo! I am so happy that he is better! Please give him hugs & kisses for Toto and me! Congratulations on your son's wedding! Hope their day is perfect and that they will be happy! ![]() Hope you will take time to take care of you, my friend! If there is anything at all that I can do ... just let me know. You all will certanly be in my prayers. God bless you and your family.
