Yes, I will contact the groomer in a polite way just to let her know that he had a staph infection that was most likely a direct result of his grooming visit. I didn't think about the others she grooms. That's an excellent point.

Gizmo is doing much better, and I have to search now to find any healing spots. We do not think it's the MRSI, but we will DEFINITELY finish all of his antibiotics even though he's healing nicely.

I will try the shampoo recommended, if I can find it locally. Thank you for that information. I will also call the vet today to see what he recommends about the bathing and grooming for now.

And yes, the wedding plans are fun and a blessing, and I know that with God's help, we'll find a way to handle John's medical issues no matter what.
