| Fig Newtons My shih tzu did that when she was a pup and a breeder friend said to feed her a fig newton everyday. I cut it in half and fed it to her for a few days and no more poo eating! When our elderly schnauzer started eating poo I fed him fig newtons too and it worked. Plus they LOVE the cookies like they are a treat. Good luck.

| Odd that I ran across this just now I got off a call with one of my breeders a couple of hours ago, and we were talking about things in general. He brought up a pill he gives his dogs to stop this, but I don't remember the name of it. I didn't pay a lot of attention to that part because I've never had that problem with any of my dogs. I remember it begins with a D, but I'll ask him tomorrow exactly what it is. He said two of his breeding dogs used to do it before he started them on these pills. |
