The Life's Abundance is a great food for puppies, adults and seniors. It is considered the all life stages since it is formulated for all ages. If you would like a sample, just PM me. Whatever you decide, just read the ingredients and make sure there is no corn, wheat or soy, and no by-products. When you change to a new food, you will also want to do it very slowly to help prevent any tummy upset that can occur if you switch too fast. A complete transition should take from a week to 10 days of mixing in the new with the old food.

When I got Lulu, she was on Eukanuba, which I heard was not so great for her. My Vet recommends Back to Basics. So mnay folks I know use it as well, and Lulu loves it. Hope this helps.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Mine ate royal canine. Reese's eyes were very runny. I switched their food over to Wellness...good bye runny eyes.

Royal Canin ingredients Here are the ingredients for the Royal Canin Yorkie: Ingredients:Chicken meal, brewers rice, corn gluten meal, chicken, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), brewers rice flour, dried eggs, brown rice, barley, natural chicken flavor, cellulose, beet pulp, brewers yeast, canola oil, salmon oil, potassium chloride, chicory extract, dried sweet potato, salt, vitamin E supplement, L-tyrosine, ascorbic acid, taurine, borage oil, choline chloride, magnesium oxide, salmon meal, iron proteinate, marigold extract, dehydrated alfalfa, dried spinach, dried blueberries, glucosamine hydrochloride, zinc proteinate, chondroitin supplement, flax seed, calcium carbonate, folic acid supplement, green tea, grapefruit extract, zinc oxide, iron sulfate, manganese proteinate, biotin, iron proteinate, copper proteinate, calcium pantothenate, copper sulfate, sage, manganous oxide, vitamin A supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, sodium selenite, rosemary extract, niacin supplement, riboflavin supplement, thiamine mononitrate, vitamin B12 supplement, calcium iodate, vitamin D3 supplementCorn and corn gluten are known allergens and are just fillers. The corn gluten was one of those ingredients from the deadly recalls last year. I would personally stay away from any brand that had corn in it. Yucky eyes are NOT NORMAL and your vet unfortunately doesn't seem to be well informed on nutrition. Most of the other ingredients in the kibble seem ok but the corn gluten would keep me away from it. Just read the ingredients on whatever you decide to feed and stay away from corn, wheat or soy and by-products.

Thank You fufufashions! I had NO IDEA that corn Gluten was a filler! I waited years for my yorkie and I thought we went into this with lots of research and knowing what was best for her. Guess I should have stuck with Beagles! I am thinking of getting a different vet also. We have had issues in the past year with her. THANKS AGAIN!
