| Holly had her first Bordatella at I believe 12 weeks, then the booster at 16 weeks. She had to wait another month or so after the booster to go to the groomer, puppy school, etc., when she had full immunity. As I recall, Gracie had hers earlier than that, but that is because I got Gracie at a younger age and she was further ahead on vaccines than Holly was when I got her. Speak with your vet. I too refused the lepto vaccine, even though my vet tried to push it with Holly.

| See I am so upset everyone has different rules!!! The groomer said I could bring him in 48 hours after his 2nd set of shots...and puppy class said he only needed one set to join. I haven't done either yet, but GEEZ! |

| I guess every place has a different set of rules. If it was my dogs, I would set my own rule not to get them around too many dogs until after the puppy shots are finished. (4 sets) JMHO... |

| My Puppy class verifies that everyone is up to date on their shots, 2nd set is fine with them. Vets will tell you to wait until all shots are done. To be honest, I took Gracie to the park and exposed her to "vaccinated" dogs (and people), no grass, when she was 12 weeks old and I have a very well socialized dog as a result. Do what you feel most comfortable with.
