| when you use a topical flea treatment and you take him to say......... another persons house.... or outside, .... there are fleas that jump onto your baby, when this happens (with advantage.... because i use it too) it usually takes a couple hours from the time the fleas jumped on to kill them effectively.... After i get home from my mothers house on sundays i always give toby a bath because he ALWAYS has lots of fleas from there and i dont want the fleas to jump off and live in the carpet Flea collers are not a good idea if you were leaning in that direction, the collar can be deadly if it is chewed on |

| One Flea, Two Flea, Three... ARGH!!! We're in the same boat. Sophie, who is 4 months old, is on Advantage, too. Once a month dosage. Things went well for the first two months, but now, two weeks after her last dose......fleas....yes, plural! I pick off 3 or 4 each night. The hotter weather probably has a lot to do with it. I called the vet who said I could change the schedule to once every three weeks. More frequent baths....and do NOT use flea shampoo while on Advantage. I'm wondering if there is a better medicine. Anyone tried Frontline?? |

| Isn't there one called Program, too? What is the best? I'm really disappointed in Advantage. |

| Revolution I have used Revolution for about 13 months on both my boys and my cat and I have never seen a flea on any one of them. They play in my small yard, and my cat (who is spayed) spends a lot of time outside and never a flea! Revolution also prevents heartworm, ticks, mites, and sarcoptic mange, all in one topical dose a month. Runs about $10 a month for small dogs and cats. Works great! I swear by it. |

| I also use Frontline and it works GREAT! One treatment and the fleas are GONE, baby gone! And it works for at least a month too, which rocks.

| Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!! Fleas? Aaaaahhhhh, run! I hate fleas. Aren't you supposed to remove them w/ tweasers? Or are those the ones you have to burn off? Am I confusing fleas w/ ticks?

| That's with a tick isn't it? Fleas move around too quickly to feel them. With ticks you feel a bump. i could be wrong though.
