| But are they hard to see? I've put coco on a white white surface but nothing jumps, so is it safe to say her itching isn't from fleas?

| Coco doesn't have fleas. Fleas also BITE us humans. My aunt has 2 or 3 scars on her ankle from getting bit from fleas on her cat. You'd see them jumping around. Coco is a clean girl

| It is very hard to see fleas on a yorkie. Becuase there hair is dark coulor... Both my yokie and maltese got fleas. I only new chester had them because he was scratching.. On chelsey our maltese you can see them ... be cause she is white. Please take your puppy to the vet they can determain if your puppy has fleas. if they do you need to wash all your beding.. puppies bedding cloths, toys etc. You will also need to vacume your home and bleach the floors. You may also use a flea shampoo until you get the appoitment to the vet. Revolution is very good treatment for flea's. Please contact your vet soon or you could have fleas alll over your home. |

| Her vet said he doesn't see any fleas and I haven't had any bites or anything. I just don't know what they look like or anything. I would just keel over if I saw one...haha

| Then I would say allergies or dry skin... do you have carpet.... I heard carpet can cause sratching as well. it could even be the weather with all the heat. How old is your puppy. Try using a oatmeal shampoo.. very gentel... and shooths the skin. I think i rember you saying you don't think it is the food, but it could be anything in the food causing itching. Mostely corn will do this... you will have to eliminat the problems first... . So give the Oatmenl shampoo a try first... Then try to change food to something without corn. Last consult your vet to have testing if you have eliminated all you can do. Keep an eye out for when the wheather chages and see if the itching stops... |

| Yes I think she just has really dry skin. I need to change her shampoo. When buying it, I hadn't found YT yet so I didn't know the importance of good doggie shampoo. The reason I doubt it's the food, because I switched her food once before and she stopped itching with the new food. It's just recently that she's itching again. I bet it's just dry skin. I will go and find an oatmeal shampoo.

| Now it all makes sense! I was wondering why Codie went out and bought rosemary scented hot rubbing oil. He also got a few scented candles. I haven't seen him alllll day ..... is he with Coco? My evidence is not only the hot oil and candles, but also the first class plane ticket charged to my VISA! hee hee!
