I live in North Carolina so my opthalmologist won't do you any good. You have to have a referral from your vet to see a specialist anyway. I don't think Daisy needs to see one, though. Lady has to see one because she is a diabetic and has eye problems.

How old is Daisy? Has she been spayed yet and had pre op bloodwork done? Sometimes that will show any abnormalities in the liver, but not always. She really should have a bile acids test done so you know if you are dealing with something medical or physical. They are very inexpensive, $40-80 depending on where you live.

You're only 17 and work 48 hour shifts? Is anyone helping you with the expense of having two dogs? That's a lot of responsibility for someone so young.

oh yeah i still live at home and im in high school but the 48 hour shift thing was just for summer, so now im back to gettin minumum hour/pay jobs!! the dogs are pretty much paid for by my parents its just the "extra" vet and specialty food items they require me to pay for ....opthalmologist falls under the extra vet category

Well, what a wonderful mature young yorkie mama you are!! There are a few teens here on YT that can really relate to having so much responsibility at that age!!
