| Your not alone, I think becoming a poop inspector is part of feeding raw lol. Lamb is the favorite meat of my furkids, they can't get enough of it. |

| Yesterday morning and last night the babies had SEVERE diarrhea. I was shocked!! Not only was it severe but it was SO MUCH!! It was all over my house. This morning this was a little bit of diarrhea and some solid poop.Is this normal? I've never seen diarrhea like that before in my life. So weird.

| Ground beef. I'm only doing beef this week because it's their first week and I wanted to give them a chance to get use to raw. This coming week I plan on mixing in lamb with their beef (like beef for breakfast and lamb for dinner, etc.). I also noticed that they seem to be regulating themselves and not eating uncontrollably. Like last night they really weren't too hungry but this morning they ate up a storm. They are no longer gorging themselves because they realize that this good food is here to stay.

| Hmmm well I mean its hard to say what could have caused the dirrea then. Bad batch of beef perhaps, your freezing it for at least 48 hours before thawing and feeding right? Have you been adding different supplements? Sometimes over doing sups can unbalance the raw and cause diarrea. Although I would urge you to add bone, plain ground meat just isn't enough as there is no calcium. Also some time this week you want to give some organ meat, just a tiny bit, but they do need it. |

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Not that it matters for me yet as I'm using NV - but do you freeze first for EVERY type of raw meat/bone or just specific types?

| Tonight mom gave me something she called a gizzard...funny name but man oh man did I like it. It was nice and chewy! Mom even held it for me (I have trained her well) and got really excited cause I was really working my jaw teeth. Then she tried giving me this scary looking thing that was almost as big as me I think it was a turkey butt! Oh, mom just told me it was the neck....I knew it was one end of the turkey. Anyway, I did not want anything to do with that thing. So then I got to try a heart....I licked it a little but it was no gizzard. YAY for the good stuff!
