I've heard here and there that starting off on beef can often be a bit much for some dogs. I started w/ venison, and added lamb for Marcel (bc he doesn't like venison or rabbit - little stinker). I haven't seen one bit of bad stools, amazingly.
Maybe try another meat for awhile and give some canned pumpkin too?
