That's for 4 oz - which I find lasts a long time, because you just need a squirt on each mat usually. I spray the hair in one area and then brush. Then when I see another mat, spray in that area.

The best part of the Buddy Splash it is made with natural herbs & oils. And it is great between baths because it smells so good and makes the coat look great.

I also use the Cloud Star shampoo - haven't tried the conditioner yet. Also the dogs love their natural biscuits & treats

yes i used buddy wash and conditioner and it is great and smells good - used on my maltese and yorkie and they were soft and smelled great afterwards. It has a lot of natural ingredients as well.

you can get at valleyvet.com and petco as well - they also sell at cost plus stores (not costco )

I was watching a grooming video on youtube and the groomer said if the dog is matted to sprinkle regular old corn starch on the dogs dry coat and rub in through the coat. I haven't tried it myself,has anyone used corn starch?

after the bath & drying , put them in a light oil. your troubles are over.

I would take your baby to the professional groomer and then brush your pup at least twice a day and definately after each walk.

Tilly use to get terrible mats!!!! If you can't brush them out best thing to do is shave them. It saves them from having to go through so much pain. Try not to use scissors because mats can be close to the skin and it's hard to distinguish where the hair ends and skin begins, so they may get cut. Only brush one area no more than five times. I have found that a slicker brush and comb work great. There are a lot of great detanglers out there as well. I've heard Cowboy Magic is good. Haven't tried it yet though. I brush Tilly every other day now and she rarely gets mats. Since I have taken classes in pet grooming I understand how to maintain her fur better. I also keep her cut shorter. I hope this helps.

LOl well she is shaved , but my groomer said i did the right thing and it will grow back better, so now i just have to wait, She is still my little molly the monster

it didnt bother her one bit to geta cut, he said she was well behaved for such a young baby

I took Winston to the breeder/groomer today and she said she'd have to shave him unless I wanted to put in a lot of work. Well, I opted for a lot of work. He has an absolutely gorgeous coat (she agreed) and we were both very reluctant to shave him to the skin.

So... I gave him a great conditioning & bath, have sprayed him down with Hair Tamer Plus, bought a dematting comb as well as L'Oreal Tangle Tamer for Kids and it seems to be working. It's taking incredible patience, but its worth it to me to save his coat!!!

Hopefully I can get out all of this matting !!

Best of luck getting all the matts out. Jewels had them really bad one time and the dematting comb became my best friend

yeah its coming along, although he's being fussy about his face and rear end so this may turn into a 2 person job here soon lol

Almond Oil - you can get it at GNC
Mix one capful with 2 cups Warm Water & pour over them after bath
use a good detangler & comb out tangles

Well...my Winston got mostly shaved

my groomer tried her hardest to save his fur but all the combing and pullin was hurting him so we just had to cut him low. it could be worse. She saved a lot of the hair on his back but his little legs are cut pretty much to the skin, and he'll grow back mostly silver. I'll admit I was a little bummed but I love my little guy no matter what. And hey, the short cut gave me an excuse to buy him a new tshirt and a jacket to keep him warm! hahaha
