So... I gave him a great conditioning & bath, have sprayed him down with Hair Tamer Plus, bought a dematting comb as well as L'Oreal Tangle Tamer for Kids and it seems to be working. It's taking incredible patience, but its worth it to me to save his coat!!!

Best of luck getting all the matts out. Jewels had them really bad one time and the dematting comb became my best friend
