| Mine go every couple of weeks. I usually take them every other Friday, and lately, it's been opposite Fridays. So I'll take Pixie this Friday, and Bogey next Friday and so on

| We have some clients that come every week, some every two weeks and some 4 and 6 weeks and a few that come once a year, weather they need it or not!!! For puppies that are going to come on a regular basis I like to see them once a month, that way they are not afraid and the learn the routine. My Glimmer that sleeps with me , she gets a bath once or twice a week depends on if she gets smelly . She sleeps next to my pillow and she just has to smell good!!! I tell my clients to come as often as you can afford it and I will keep your dogs looking great!! Owner Best Friends Pet Salon Salem Oregon |

| Same here. I have clients that come to me every week (reduced price), since it's very easy to groom them. Some come every 2 weeks, once a month and then there are those that come in whenever they want miracles performed........usually every 3 or 4 months. I usually recommend once a month, especially the soft coated yorkies.

| Even my Standard Poodle "Chaucer" gets a bath once a week and needs a hair cut at least every two weeks , I just hate a hairy face and feet. It is hard to be a groomer and see one of your own dogs messy. Chaucer loves the off leash park where he gets to play hard with his friends. Yep he gets dirty!! | When I first started grooming I hated poodles they were so hard to do , as I am self taught. Tim Reese a well known handler started showing my Shih Tzu for me and I shared my thoughts about poodles with him. He was a poodle breeder at the time. I told him I wouldn't have a poodle if someone gave me one. And at the next show there he was a min. black poodle baby just for me. My job was to groom show and finish him. And Tim would help me along the way correcting my scissoring skills. Well I named him "Dunkirk's Just Fur Fun and called him Timmy after Tim Reese. That is how I became a great groomer and that is how I got my love for the poodle. Tim is a very smart man. |

| I've never been drawn to poodles but your Chaucer is awesome! He doesn't have any tear stains either... why do some have it and other don't? I love your heart on his side, too! The place that I usually take Mia to get groomed does that too. They are strictly Shih Tzu people and love coloring their hair.

| We groom our own dogs, but we shampoo, condition, and blow dry once a week. Brush hair daily, wash face every other day or as needed. Trim nails and other "areas" as needed. Express anal glands as needed. They don't go to a groomer due to horrible experiences in the past with other dogs...
