When I first started grooming I hated poodles they were so hard to do , as I am self taught. Tim Reese a well known handler started showing my Shih Tzu for me and I shared my thoughts about poodles with him. He was a poodle breeder at the time. I told him I wouldn't have a poodle if someone gave me one. And at the next show there he was a min. black poodle baby just for me. My job was to groom show and finish him. And Tim would help me along the way correcting my scissoring skills. Well I named him "Dunkirk's Just Fur Fun and called him Timmy after Tim Reese. That is how I became a great groomer and that is how I got my love for the poodle. Tim is a very smart man. |
