| How often to the groomers? The groomer that I take my Maltese & Yorkie to recommends a Maintenance Plan in which you bring your dogs every 2 weeks for a reduced price. Does anyone take theirs that often? Is it helpful? |

| ok something is off here at my house, because I take Bobo once a week for a bath and a blow dry. I can not do his hair good enough to make it look as good as they do. He definitley needs a bath once a week or he has a really strong doggy smell. luckily they only charge me 10.00 for just a bath and dry, with a bow in the hair. Tammy |

i was thinking the same thing!! he is only 13 weeks old so i do not feel a rush to have him groomed yet. i do want to find a good one to give him a puppy cut though - i don't like the long hair look on boys.

| We bring Tia in once a month...and I bathe her every week between visits, along with other maintenance (brushing, teeth, etc).

| i bathe and dry maggie once a week, she gets brushed twice a day, and i have only cut her hair once. I have asked in the past if I should take her to get trimmed or not...I dont know if these guys suffer from split ends the way we humans do but I am thinking she will start needing trims soon. I'm thinking once a month but I will see what others say...

| I try to take him once a month....but it hasnt worked out that way. He has only been to the groomer twice since Ive had him. December and February. In between that I've trimmed him myself a couple of times and I bathe him once a week. Im going to take him back soon.....He's starting to look like a homeless dog

| My babies go to the groomer once a month for the works. But at home I give them a bath and clean their ears every week. I also take them in-between grooming visits (every 2 weeks) for touch-ups (trim by the eyes, cut nails if necessary and sanitary trim).

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali goes every 3 months for a good professional groom and I do it the rest of the time. Pixie has never been and I don't think she will. She has a very silky, thin coat that doesn't mat and is a breeze to groom.
