| Aubrey, when we got grayson he was covered in matts we had to wait until he had his last round of shots and in November we took him to the groomers and they shaved him all the way! He looked like a deer, but he is growing in just fine, and his fur has changed and also is silky soft! Neesa's hair will grow back and you can tell her Grayson loves her with alot of hair and without all that hair too!!

| Umm well Chelsea's now seven months but for the first five months she was a matted monster lol. You can still salvage the hair if you want...it will just take a lot of time, alot of patience, and dedication everyday. I tried to brush chelsea every day, but some day s you just don't get around to it. Before I knew it, she was all matted. I started detangling little sections day by day until finally one day i just went at it. Chelsea, cried, and growled and barked and tried to bite me several times, but i didn't give up. by the end of it all (about 30 mins.) she was exhausted and weak and hardly moving. i was scared to death. so I huged her up gave her almost a whole tube of Nutra Cal and petted her til she relaxed. All of the knots weren't gone, but it was a huge difference.

| She is so cute with her hair cut. Lucy's hair was so tangled that it was cut about 1/4 inch all over. Your baby still has alot of her hair left. |

I did have a similar problem though when she was a puppy. I was bathing her and then brushing. Well, the brush apparently wasn't getting down to the roots and when I realized this and tried combing for the first time, it was torture. I guess the best way to describe an easy way to do it is to pick at the mat with a comb, not just try to comb or brush it. You kinda hold the hair as close to the skin as you can with one hand and pick at the knot with the other hand (holding the comb). I would do this after a serious conditioning treatment..... try using Infusium 23 leave in conditioner too. Don't worry about conditioning too much. Just over-condition to get the knots out and then wash again if it's too much. Good luck!

| Nessa is beautiful, if I didn't know, I couldn't even tell she got a haircut... Pepper's hair was cut down to like 1/2 inch all over, tummy even shorter. (He almost looked like a 'deer'! ). But after that, it's so easy to catch up with combing. I don't even use a brush - it went to Pep's toy basket and just use a metal comb - it's best for getting down to the skin.
