Umm well Chelsea's now seven months but for the first five months she was a matted monster lol. You can still salvage the hair if you want...it will just take a lot of time, alot of patience,and dedication everyday. I tried to brush chelsea every day, but some day s you just don't get around to it. Before I knew it, she was all matted. I started detangling little sections day by day until finally one day i just went at it. Chelsea, cried, and growled and barked and tried to bite me several times, but i didn't give up. by the end of it all (about 30 mins.) she was exhausted and weak and hardly moving. i was scared to death. so I huged her up gave her almost a whole tube of Nutra Cal and petted her til she relaxed. All of the knots weren't gone, but it was a huge difference.
