| Thanks for all of the great information.. but I would like to know also, what products seem to be the best for each type of hair. Thick and cottony Thin and dry looking ( Reese's coat ) Thick and dry Thin and silky Thick and silky I need to order products today and every time I am convinced that I should order a particular product, I read another post and change my mind. In my case I would love to know what is the best shampoo, conditioner, finishing spray or leave in treatment, and serum or oil for a thin and dull longer coat. Thank you.. great thread |

Cheri is silky - I like the Plush Puppy on her but the CC also works. With her hair - I use a conditioner and a very tiny tiny amount of Ice or the Oil. When (Dawn) was selling Vitacoat - that Rocked for making Cheri's hair shiny. and momofreese...At the beginning of this thread - I think we were offering products for types of hair. I wish I could help you - but maybe someone will post that has those hair types.... | |

Since then I've tried Shea Pet products and Pet Silk. I really like the pet silk, shampoo and conditioner. She hasn't been back to the groomers since switching so I don't have a professional opinion but her coat doesn't look dry. Really the main difference I've seen between this and Plush Puppy is that PP didn't leave her as silky as the Pet Silk does. Now I still use PP's swishy coat and I also use the silk serum(I believe that's what its called) from Pet Silk. I think maybe the PP products left her coat a little fuller and less thin, but there was that trade off, for us, it may leave her a little thicker but Pet Silk left her silkier. I haven't used CC products so I don't know how they would do, they may be better or worse. I've heard so much about them but haven't gotten the urge to use them yet, someday I'm sure it will hit me.

| Hi! Thank you all for your great inputs! I just joined the forum. I live in Brazil, so it's very hard to get what you folks are suggesting, except for the Aussie 3 minute (which is about USD $10.00 here). Can you immagine we don't even have the No More Tangles line from Johnson's? I'm so going to try the Aussie product! I've seen on youtube a fuss around the MD10 shampoo/conditioners, but the price with the shipping to Brazil is absurd. Has anyone tried it? Does it sell in the US (and where)? Oh, has anyone tried going low poo on the yorkies? Lots of love and licks! |
