| When Gracie was a puppy we tried the tiny scrunchies but her hair was just too slippery and wouldn't stay in. Maybe if we used the dog hair gel it would have helped but there was something about the smell of it that really bothered her. The 1/4" latex free bands were what really helped get those hairs close to the eyes to stay up. The thing is you have to change the topknot frequently to keep the hairs from tangling in any type of band and breaking off. Once they play and get their head into things the hairs start to loosen no matter what you use and then they tangle and break. Changing often gives them more training time anyway. More treats, too. |
