YT Addict | My Dolce is just turning 9 months and still has her puppy coat, but I did notice down by her legs where the color changes from tan to black, the color is starting to break and the new coat coming in is her adult coat, silky. I think it just depends on the dog. I have a feeling that Dolce will take a lot longer cuz her hair grows pretty slow.

| My Riley is just turning 14 months and still has his puppy coat..... I too have noticed that just within the last couple of weeks, down by his legs where the color changes from tan to black, the color is starting to break.... It is coming in that Steel Blue color underneath..... His Daddy was that Steel Blue on his Saddle and his Mommy kind of kept her Black Saddle, but had some Steel Blue around her neck area. - They say it can take up to 2 - 3 years before they have all of their true coloring. I have been taking Lots of pics. |

| I looked at your pic's...I would venture to say Lulu has a soft coat and it will stay that way....soft does not turn to silk..but you have her in a cute clip and it will be easy to manage. |
