Lexi you could order the $20 sampler pack, you will get some s&C and vellus satin cream. About the greasy; I tend to slather on the top knot area, as I really want to protect the hair, so I don't have a good opinion on greasy or not. It could be you have a very slow growing silk coat...my boy who is a carpet surfer and a head rubber, also has a slow growing coat, and the top of his head takes a beating; but finally after two years the hair is growing and filling in nicely on his topknot area.

I tend to think most products make Max greasy or yucky, but not the Vellus satin cream.

| Ah, she is a finicky one yes? You might want to try the sampler on the Vellus site, that way, if she doesn't like the scent you havent bought a whole jar of it that you can't use

Your Lexi is beautiful! I agree with Gail and Kristen, buy the sampler and try out the products first. I don't think it makes the hair look greasy, I apply it, let it dry for a bit, then comb it through the hair. Personally, I don't care for the Vellus conditioner at all, it dried out my kids coats the couple times I tried it I haven't used the shampoo so I can't comment on that, we have stuck with Espree shampoos and conditioners for a couple years now as they work good on all my babies. But I LOVE Vellus anti-static spray for their daily brushings. Huggles! MK and kids

| Vellus Sample Package Thank you so much for this Heads Up as this is probably the better option to start with. Yes, a bit fussy on scents. She doesn't mind a tropical or nutty, even Vanilla but not fruity or anything that smells like perfume .. Lol, when we find a new line of products we want to try, she is with me so she can do the smell test. If she turns her head, it's a obvious no go but if she keeps sniffing, concluded with a lick of the lips, we're on! Thanks again for the great tip! |
