Lexi you could order the $20 sampler pack, you will get some s&C and vellus satin cream.

About the greasy; I tend to slather on the top knot area, as I really want to protect the hair, so I don't have a good opinion on greasy or not. It could be you have a very slow growing silk coat...my boy who is a carpet surfer and a head rubber, also has a slow growing coat, and the top of his head takes a beating; but finally after two years the hair is growing and filling in nicely on his topknot area.
