| i dont show my dog but i have started to use the moracan oil on both my yorkies and i love it, they coat looks super duper and i seem to be washing them less often, i use laser lights to wash and condition them then i use the oil while damp, i use it on my own hair and love the results so i tried it on them too, i googled it and seems like lots of people like it on show dogs.. i use the keihls and the one called moracan oil. |

One thing for sure; It would be difficult to guess at coat care by reading it online. EVERYONE needs mentoring. You cannot do this breed alone. You can get tips online, but if you're getting serious about the ring then you will have to get a hands on person to help you. You can destroy a coat with oil if not using it correctly. Same with wraps. Buy the breeder that wants to help you succeed. It's not to discourage you. We want you in the ring. We still make adjustments to our own coat care routines. This is one of the smallest things a mentor will help you with. There is so much to learn, you owe it to your dog and the breed to do it right. It's very common not to use oil with wraps. Some people don't use any wraps, only oil. You should get a mentor to help you with coat care. It's the start of hours that turn into years of coat care. | |
