| cleaning Ha, just this morning My sweet Bella went all over herself. All I do is wash her butt. We call it poopy butt. And I wash Jack on his privates we call it belly wash..(ha, the things we do for them). Mind you Jack wears a belly band. But sometimes he sneaks in and goes on my piller (yellow polls) we call it. So I have to really watch him. All in fun. Cheryl |

| Okay, so I've been really cracking up at some of the stuff on this post. HOWEVER, a pee string!! Tucker has no such thing, so I guess we'll be growing that out!! I was also thinking about doing butt bath's too. Joey's mom and Aprillove. Do you need to do butt bath's in between reg bath's with this pee string?? Also thanks all for the waterproofing idea. This has been ever so helpful |

| Yorkies long hair Well when Bella comes running to me like something is bothering her. Like Poo, I wash her then. Sometimes its false alarm like she might have a twig or something on her she does not like anything touching her. (silly girl). Cherylhttp://i220.photobucket.com/albums/d...upcake-629.gif |

| does anyone have any knew ideas to add to this? my yorkie uses pee pads and the pee puddles for a second before being absorbed so the hair on her butt where it is long touches the pee.. it's not as bothersome on keira as it is on my mom's biewer lizzy because she has white hair. we thought about clipping their hair on their butts up.. but they use the pee pads all day long whenever they need to and we don't want to clip their hair up all day long. thanks!

| on keira it is the hair from her tail.. i don't want to cut the hair on her tail it's the tips of that hair not the hair underneath her(that hair is pretty short because i did shave it once before) there is no way to clip it without ruining her coat. so i am not sure what to do. i was reading about the leave in conditioner The Stuff.. but it is a little expensive(when you include shipping) although i may break down and buy some.. just wondered if anyone had any other ideas. the problem with lizzy is it gets on the hair on the inside of one of her hind legs.. we shaved her underneath but today it is still getting on her leg hair and we can't really shave the either.

Most groomers shave the inside of the leg hair. I wonder if taking them once to a professional groomer might help? I don't know if the leave in conditioner would do anything, some people say they use baby cleaning cloths, but I think if they are groomed right, this won't happen.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Wasn't sure if you meant the hair on the tail or under it. I keep Joey's hair on his tail long too, and we don't have the problem. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.

| I have the same problem with Uni. Sometime she likes to go on concrete, and I tell her to "scoot it", so the hair won't get soaked in pee, but sometimes it still does. We do a sanitary trim also, but this is still a problem. If she goes in grass, it's not so bad. It still does bother me though.
