| i finally broke down and gave everyone haircuts this summer. they are similiar to the way carl cuts beatrice but without the skirts. my favorite part is the way his legs look like he's wearing furry snow boots

| Here are some of Maci's different looks... these are just the pics I have of her now. One is her puppy cut, then the second I believe is long body/short almost puppy face... which i really like on her. she has the softest/silkiest coat and i love that it is a dark dark black and chocolate! Any idea why her ears are shaved at the tip? I noticed her ears were floppy when I met her, yet in her pics they are standing. also... every time i see someone say "beatrice" i have to laugh because when i am grouchy that's my husbands nickname for me haha... "goodmorning to you too beatrice" or "are we bringing our the inner beatrice today?" always makes me laugh actually. however, you're beatrice is a cutie! looked like your dog had rollers in that first pic?? |

That's funny about the name "Beatrice" I think it comes with attitude LOL It really suits my girl that's for sure. The things that look like rollers are called wraps , they are basically deli wraps and we use them to protect the very long coats of the show dogs. They keep the hair clean and from tangling ,so the show dogs can run around and play and not be one big matt. Also keeps the food out the their hair when they eat, and keeps them from chewing off their mustaches when they are chewing bones etc.

| oh she is a beauty! do you show her then? huh, never seen the ear tips shaved like maci's were... but her ears were floppy when i met her, so maybe thats why they were shaved in that pic, maybe she was a li'l younger and they stood that way. that's interesting about the wraps though... i've been learning so much on here! maci could never be a show dog, so i'll probably just let her be a li'l mess from time to time haha |

Maci is adorable, she reminds me of a puppy that a friend of mine owns. Where did you get her from ?

From her registration papers looks like she is from Patricia Wallace of Calgary, Alberta. Dam: Yorkhaven Whispering Willow Sire: CH Dazzling Good Vibrations. I'm sure that those dogs are just normal dogs, I don't think they were fancy show dogs or anything... although as a puppy Maci was a $1700 pup. So who knows? I got her from her owner that bought her originally... so I don't much about the breeder or her lineage other than what's on this paper haha.

| Oh! I see you're in Montreal now... yeah I just figured out the CH meant champion haha. SO I guess she is from a show dog daddy! :P That's cool you recognize that line. Although she's far from show quality according to standards, if there was an "off standard" show ring I'd try her in it haha! |
