| You don't have to have a license to groom (which is scary) and I've heard that those girls are not paid by the store, but instead, they give the store a percentage. I guess they don't have to answere to any bosses and do as they please. I'm so sorry your baby had to endure all that time in a cage. Bless her little heart. Hugs to her from me. |

| regardless of what the manager says, the situation is NOT acceptable. I personally am a master cosmetologist and have been working for 17 yrs in the field. I am a booth renter, which means i pay the salon owner a set amount a week to work there. I do set my own hours, prices, etc. If it were my client who was PO'ed (and that God i dont have that, but you never know), I would do anything to recitfy the situation and make the client happy. Even if they went to the owner, it would still be my business to rectify it, since I run my business out of her salon. If I were you, i would have told the manager how you know so many people with dogs who bring them to that store and how you will share your story with them and tell them to never come back. If I took my dog there and he'she wasnt ready when I went to get her, I would have demanded to have her back and i would have gone elsewhere. You poor thing. I can only imagine how stressed you were. I brought my Bichon to petco twice for grooming, The first time was good, and i wasnt so happy the second time. Hence I learned to groom her myself (shes one and a half), I scissor cut her all over, and yeah, that may take more time, but she looks great. sorry for my ramblings, but as a person who works in the service industry that is just not acceptable....sigh. HUGS to you! Stacy

| that is horrible! Maybe you can do what I did with my bad experience at Petco (not in the grooming dept) but i emailed the headquarters on the website. And to think tomorrow is Koda's first day going to the groomers. This has me all worried now |
