| NYC Yorkies It has been so beautiful, I am dying to get the yorkies out and about... are there any dog parks that anyone knows of that have a separate small dog section? Also would anyone be interested in meeting up with the little guys this weekend?

| I was there last weekend and the weather was great! 70s during the day...I wish I had shorts. I had to go shopping to buy t-shirts since all I packed were light sweaters. There were actually people sunbathing in Central Park!

| There is a small dog park on the upper east side in the 80's. Its at 84th street near the East River. Lots of Yorkies there. I went a couple of weeks ago and it was under renovation, so you should check to see if its open again before going. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I live in jersey but might be able to make it to a NYC meet up. If you want to come to jersey there is a nice dog park by my town. its the brookdale dog run in brookdale park. It has a separate area for big and small dogs. always clean and the dogs are usually all well behaved.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Yes! I was going to say this one. The view of the river is also pretty-I live on the upper west side so I've only been there a couple times but there's lots of little doggies that go there. The surface is nice cause it's not dirt or anything. The one I go to near my house is dirt surface and i hate it cause my dogs get all dirty and so do I. The 'big dog' area is right near it so just carry your little ones in to be safe. There's also a nice dog park on 42nd right next to the hudson river, it's really nice but I don't remember if it had a small dog section..the day I went there were tons of small dogs though. They also have sprinklers/fountains right next to it on hot summer days which is great for them to cool off. I also go to Yorkie meets if you're interested in that..idk if you've ever been but they meet once a month at diff. locations. It's also fun and each have a diff. theme lol

| The park you are thinking of is Carl Schurz park on the Upper East Side, its lovely. I take my yorkie there almost every day, she is recovering right now from being fixed so we have a few more days before we can go back. The small dog run is on the river, the view is wonderful. You can enter the park on 86th or 84th just continue to walk towards the river. I believe the dog park on 60th and the river also has a small dog run but we have yet to make out way down there. |
