dog Dear Jeanie, I have been down that same road and I can help you get through this. I had breast cancer in 2000, did a mastectomy, chemo and radiation. Mine was encapsulated, Found only because of a mammogram. You need to be very aggressive with this cancer. I had the mastectomy without reconstruction. Just pop a prostheses in there. I didn't want anymore surgery or risks. You will get better, just trust in the Lord and watch Him work. I wish I lived closer to be there for you. Just hold little Tibbe, he will be by your side. I will really pray for you. Here's the prayer I said before surgery-"I will clothe myself with the white light of Jesus and only good things will come to me. I now work with hospice patients because of my cancer. Big blessings will come to you when this is behind you. Be strong, and know that you are surrounded by angels. Love to you! Sandy |

dog You are in my thoughts and prayers a lot, Jeanie. Keep a positive attitude and know that the Lord is there and will walk with you through this time. If you feel anxious there are meds for that. Call your doctor and ask for calming medication. I did that and it really helped me get through things. You will be so strong and you will meet angel nurses along the way. It's over and done and on to the next stage. The pain was gone 2 hours after surgery and now just very sore and stinging and reaching my right arm over to reach the laptop on the left arm of the couch is uncomfortable so I'll not be typing much today. Forgive my not answering your posts individually right now. Most of all, I appreciate all you sweet ladies and gents amazing support and all those prayers and good thoughts and well wishes. What a difference they made. I sincerely mean that and you guys got me through it. :) |

dog Jeanie, I had to check my mail to see if you sent something. So glad you did and got through the surgery. You are a trooper. You are strong and with the strength of the Lord will get all this behind you. I have you in my heart and prayers. Jeanie, So glad to know that surgery is over and you are home!!! My mom went through this a few years back and I was shocked (but elated) to see her recover so fast. Follow doctors orders. Get some rest and let everyone else do the lifting. |
