No, I wasn't discouraged at all - I felt a little better after seeing the surgeon's confidence and calm demeanor. Just hate going to the doctor and all that! I love you all back so very much - such a great and attentive group of ladies and gents. Such a source of strength and help! Quote:

You had a very long day yesterday. Now, you need to rest as much as possible, prior to your surgery. Sheila & I are having a mass said for you on March 6th. And you continue to remain at the top of our prayer list. I remember, very well, everything that had to be arranged, before Sheila's surgery, so please don't apologize for not posting. Everyone here understands. Rich |
You will do fine......I am keeping you in my prayers - xoxoxo- Keep us updated! :love-hug1:kiss3::love-hug1:kiss3: |
Jeanie, sending more prayers and hugs to you today. Even though it can get scary, I think that once you know you have the dreaded "C" inside of you, you feel more empowered once you have a treatment plan established, and can focus on getting it out of you. You have all our love and support as you focus on CURE. |

I also have breast cancer so I know how you feel. Have been thru chemo and now on March 11 I will be having a double masectemy and I am really scared. I worry about my little Magic as my husband loves him but cannot take care of him the way I do. Just hoping I make it thru surgery. |

After my surgery, when I could lift, my dogs became my weights.... Lol. I would pick up my 5 lb girl with both hands 3 times and as I lifted, give her a kiss. Then later the 3 lb boy 5 times, with a kiss each time. I did this with all 3 dogs throughout the day, gradually increasing how many times I lifted. It passed the time, I spent time with them and it kept us all occupied. |

I so very much appreciate the mass and all of those prayers! And all the understanding and support here is more than humbling. I'm so beholden to everyone. I know I keep using the same words over & over but they nevertheless hold true each and every time I use them. Love you both, Jeanie |
Just stopping in to wish you a peaceful weekend. Praying you can rest and relax. |

Sheila had breast cancer, when she was just 22 & our son was an infant. She had the same worries about our son, as you have about your little Magic, and we understand your concern. Sheila had more surgery in 2006, and our beautiful Yorkies, Sydney & Kia were still with us, and she worried about them so much, because she loved them the way you love your little Magic. She wouldn't allow me to visit her, except on the day of the surgery, and an hour each day after. Please believe, that you will make it through the surgery. Put yourself in God's most capable hands. Prayer is very powerful and you will have so many people praying for you. Rich |

It is truly our honor to have a mass said for you. You are truly a beloved member of YT, so everyone knows how much you appreciate all the understaning & support, and prayers offered for you. We love you, too. Rich & Sheila |

I'm glad this outpouring of love to you helps and also helps others that have mentioned they are dealing with somewhat the same. Don't let your mind race ahead too far however, it's a woman's way, isn't it wanting to have everything in order. Do you have Netflix? When I am stressed, I put Frasier on for an hour before I go to bed and laugh myself silly and then I sleep. The waiting is the hardest part and we'll be praying to wake up the angels if any of them are sleeping on the 6th.:heart to |
Jeanie, I hope you are relaxing and taking it easy along with Tibbe! You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Love and Hugs, Dyan |

I have that huge tree thinned and trimmed back every year or every other year as part of it edges over the edge of the front roof so I have to keep it cut back and thinned so it won't be as top-heavy or touch the roof. Spring and storms will be coming before we know it. |
Oh Dear! It just never ends! Hope you get it all sorted out and can relax for the rest of the weekend! Sending Prayers and Healing Thoughts, and some hefty Good Repair Thoughts too! |

I think it finally is sorted out. The fans have almost done their work drying out under the washer and dryer in the Utility Porch and the yard man is gone, the yard tidied and the parkway is stacked with limbs. My big tree is just breaking out into something like beginning buds along its limbs today and will be getting green before I know it and heavy with leaves in no time. Kinda glad it's behind me now. I'm praying nothing else happens for the rest of the week and I can just lie on the couch with Tibbe and do nothing but watch movies. |
Thinking of you and wishing you well during this difficult time Jeanie.{{HUGS}} and Prayers headed your way, Stay strong ! |
Oh Jeanie, just seeing this! When is your surgery? I was in your shoes last February and honestly it seems long ago now. As Vicki said, the radiation is not so bad, but do be prepared to sleep a lot! You will be in my thoughts and prayers. |
Jeanie I'm sorry that I haven't been here to support you, pray for you and wish only the best for you...I'll make up for my tardiness by doing so now. You've got a wonderful support system right here on YorkieTalk...who'd have thought, huh? Know that I join all the others in sending positive vibes, best wishes and non-stop thoughts and prayers. Be brave, be strong, have faith and believe. |
