So grateful and beholden to you for those prayers, thoughts and wishes. It's amazing how much stronger a person can feel who has others who speak out to show support. I'd have thought I'd be a mess right now but I'm doing very, very well and no small thanks to all of YT who take their time to care!

Thank you, Rich & Sheila, for such kind and loving words. You two are so special to me and I'm forever thankful for your prayers.

haha. I watch Frasier, too, but haven't watched in a few months. Come to think of it, it's well past time for another Frasier-fix!

The mind-part of not thinking down the wrong roads is the way of a woman, indeed, so I'm trying not to think much ahead. And my yes, waiting is awful. Seems like the whole month of February was about this single body part, starting with the screening mammogram and waiting ever since for something else the rest of the month, going now into March.

Your kind words mean everything and your praying to wake up the angels on the 6th made me laugh. I'll take any you can 'rouse to watch over me that day for sure. They must already been encamped around as I don't feel scared at all and as I've dreaded hearing this diagnosis since my mom got it years ago, I'd have thought I'd be petrified.

This is the time to hold onto my faith and Father and soak up courage. But I'm telling you, reading daily statements of love, caring and support from YorkieTalk members is powerful medicine.

God bless you for the thoughts, wishes and prayers. They are keeping me strong because so far, I haven't been actually scared. I was anxious about the mammo and biopsy but amazing now, I'm not really that anxious when I thought I'd be a wreck if I ever got this diagnosis. Prayer and support really work wonders in human lives.

Surgery is Thursday, March 6th. Oh, Linda, I well remember your diagnosis and surgery, as I prayed for you several times a day for a long time through that time. And you had all those rescue dogs and YHR going as well. I don't know how you did it. I was so glad to see you announce your treatments were done and you got your certificate or whatever they give those who've complete their treatments. I celebrated that day with you. Your thoughts and prayers will be mightily appreciated.

Hmmm, sleeping a lot with a good excuse for it sounds okay!

Bless you! I'll take any additional support but don't feel tardy or any need to make up. The support I've seen for myself and others before me going through hard or scary times has always been amazing in its strength and quality. Thank you so very much for your vibes, wishes, thoughts and prayers and those kinds of caring expressions I've read here and in those amazing PM's do help keep someone facing a stressful, scary time ahead bolstered and braced! All of the wonderful posts YT members have sent to me have actually worked wonders!!! Every one of you is precious.

Wow, Dyan, me too! Hope not to repeat yesterday anytime soon. Now I'm scared to wash again. It's not my drain to the alley as all other drains and plumbing all working fine so I fear it's my very old washing machine. So in my spare time I'll be buying a new washing machine and getting it delivered but hoping I can put that off until next week. Tibbe and I are taking our ease today, catching up on things I've recorded and never watched. Bless you for the love and hugs! :)

Thank you, Sandy, for those thoughts and the love. It's raining freezing rain right now and 25 degrees so we're huddled under the heated throw in the den by the big window looking out over the back yard and watching the TV. It's the kind of day where you just want to lounge and do nothing!

Been away for a few days and just read this post. So glad that you have many people here praying for you and sending wonderful warm messages to you!! I for one, am sending positive thoughts and that you get the best outcome possible. I'm sure that you are in good hands with Tibbe at your side:) Regarding funny shows, I have been watching Mike and Molly lately, and have done lots of laughing! Perhaps you can put this in your line up with Frasier. Best wishes!!!!

I never did watch Frasier when it was on years back but stumbled onto an early episode one day and just laughed myself silly. After that, I was sold and began to watch those old episodes. If M&M is anywhere near that funny, they'll be a good distraction too! Thanks!

I'm doing very well and likely need a new machine anyway as mine is very, very old and the cost to have a repairman out to check it out will be a good portion toward a new one, I imagine. Love and hugs accepted and returned with a smile. :)

Thanks on that washing machine hopes but most of all for your prayers and thoughts, love and hugs. Genuinely humbling and so appreciated.

I know - hate having work done cause you never know what will go wrong and usually does. ;) Thank you, Kristin, for those prayers and your love and hugs. They mean everything to me right now - far more than I have words to say.

LOL. All that did take my mind off everything for a while - nothing like more trouble to divert the mind!!! I am so terribly grateful for your good thoughts and hope.

I am reading The Little Prince with my students, and it's a story that has particular importance to me because it reminds me so much of my special little roses, my babies at the Rainbow Bridge and Katie, too. But it also reminds me of people in my life that I have grown to love dearly. The little prince learns a valuable lesson about friendship from a fox he meets in the Sahara Desert. The fox teaches him about how ties are created and asks the prince to tame him. I feel like you have tamed us, Jeanie, because you are so devoted to the people and pups of YorkieTalk. You have spent so much time with us, and you have grown very dear to us. I won't forget the sound of your voice or the love and wisdom you impart here.

Please get well soon. You are never far from my thoughts, and I will continue praying for you. I feel so fortunate that you have tamed me and that I have come to know you. When I log into YT I always hope to read one of your posts. I can't wait until this is all behind you and that you are feeling much better. Always remember that you are loved.
