| Jeanie, I am so sorry you are going through this. I'm glad this was caught early and is being dealt with straight away. Positive energy and healing wishes are being sent to you and will continue to be sent to you each and every day from across the Atlantic sea. Give little Tibbe a hug and let him take care of you in own own way and believe that between all the prayers, well wishes and support from everyone at YT, as well as your own family and friends, that you will get through this! |

| Jeanie, I am so sorry to hear this but so glad it is contained which is so important. You are such an important part of Yorkie Talk like someone else said and there for everyone, let us be there for you. I didn't know that you had gone in for the biopsy but so glad you went soon enough to make this so much less than what it could have been. Prayers coming and just wish I could give you a big hug, consider it given. Joan

Yes make sure they do all of what Michele say's. I myself had Breast Cancer. I was stage 3A, I was ER-,PR- but I was HER2 +. I had a double mastectomy and I had 6 months of chemo, and then I had to have a year of the Herceptin treatments due to being HER2+. I also had 6 weeks of Radiation. Sending out prayers for you.

| [SIZE="3"]Opps also forgot to add, make they sure they also do the Bone Scans the Chest and AB CT Scan as well. Most Onc's at this point won't do a PET Scan. I myself am fixing to have a PET Scan once again.

| Jeannie, you are in our thoughts and prayers. My younger sister had a mastectomy at 42. Chemo and radiation, breast implants (yes, implants as she decided as long as she was having it done she wanted bigger). She is now 16 yrs cancer free, enjoying her children and grandchildren.

| I like so many will be praying that scan is absolutely negative, Vicki. I know once you have the disease, the tests afterward are awfully scary. My niece had non-Hodgkins lymphoma when she was in her 20's and ever since her tests are stressful times but thankfully she's now in her 40's. Let us know the result! Thanks for all the good information and prayers.

I have had a total hysterectomy years ago so they aren't too much concerned about the other areas. But I might look into BRCA depending it's costs and whether of not the surgeon recommends it. She is at the Sammons Cancer Center on the Baylor Dallas campus and did a lumpectomy on a good friend of mine back in 2003 I think it was. I have seen here for a fullness my PCP found in a breast one year that turned out to be nothing. I imagine I'll have the surgery at Baylor Hospital on Gaston or one of the surgery centers affiliated with them. I imagine a lumpectomy is an out-patient procedure, isn't it? Today it seems they cut and send you home! Your offer to come and sit up with me is just about the sweetest thing I've ever heard. I so appreciate it. Might just weaken and take you up on it but we'll see if I have to stay the night or what after my Wednesday doctor's appointment. Trying to stay courageous and strong. You few ladies who have been there will be my lifeline to how to make it through all of this.
