Its so nice that you have taken the time to respond to everyone's well wishes. Its such a nice thing to see our members come together in support of one of it own. Some times this place gets me down and I've often stayed away but seeing this thread makes my day. It is such a tearful yet very companionate thread full of love and sadness but makes me smile knowing how much everyone cares. I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayer. Hopefully the surgery can be done and you can be restored to a healthy lifestyle with a new found sense of security. Take care and keep your spirits up ! |

Thank you so much. I wish I could tell you that today is a little better for Sheila, but she is still so withdrawn. And not eating more than a few bits of food. Thank you for your continued thoughts & prayers. Love & Hugs to you, YT's Angel on Earth. Rich |

I am so grateful for everyone's prayers here in YT for Sheila, that I feel, it is the very least I can do is respond, and thank each member. Sheila used to be a very active member, but after Sydney died, and many of her friends left this forum, she didn't post very much. At one point, I think it was after Kia died, she actually requested to be removed as a member. I understand exactly why sometimes this forum gets you down, ad you have stayed away.....Sheila went through that recently, but God bless Ann, Wylies Mom for starting this prayer thread. I have come to see just how many wonderful members belong to YT. I read the posts to Sheila, and she gets very teary, that so many people are praying for her. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts & prayers. As much as I hate the idea of Sheila having the surgery, I'll be thankful when she gains enough weight to have it. Thank you-it's been a rough week, but I'm praying Sheila will get past her grief, and begin to eat better. Rich |

We love the song Earth Angel. Using it as your username is a very special tribute to your Dad & Mom We're both so sorry that your parents have both passed away. Sheila lost her Dad in 1997-he was only 69 and it hit her hard, and 9 months later, she lost her Mom, she was only 67. Thank you for your continued prayers. Patti (Baby Blessing) has e-mailed Sheila several times, and Sheila promised Patti that she would try to eat more. Love & Hugs, Rich |
Sheila and Rich, I am thinking of and praying for you. I sure hope Sheila is getting some food in to get strength. I think I read somewhere that she at some cream of rice so that is good. Love and Hugs, Dyan |

We're seeing her DO on March 17th, and I am going to discuss with him what the pain management doctor suggested-an opiod medication that won't make her Lymphocytic Colitis worse. I feel, if the pain in her spine could be relieved, she would feel better, and be able to move, and therefore, feel more like eating. Rich |

dawn27, commented that it was nice of me to respond to everyone's posts for prayers for Sheila. I realized, I had initially posted one thank you to everyone. So, I wanted to come back to the beginning, and thank each person that I didn''t respond to from the start. Thank you, so very much. Rich |

So, I wanted to go back and see who I hadn't posted a personal response for their prayers. Thank you for praying that Sheila gets stronger, and for brighter days ahead with me. We will celebrate 40 years of marriage on the 30th of this month. We had wanted to re-new our wedding vows in our church. Sadly, that won't happen this year. But I pray every day, that on our 45th, Sheila will be able to do it. With my gratitude, Rich |

Thank you for thinking & praying for us. Yes, Sheila ate Cream of Rice yesterday, and later in the day, a thick slice of plain toast. She can't have any dairy, due to casien. In the evening, she snacked on a cup of dry Cherrio's. The diet for LC is very limiting-no dairy due to casein, low fat, no sugar, no caffeine. No red meat. Love & Hugs, Rich |
Sheila and Rich, I am glad to hear Sheila has eaten and hope it has stimulated her appetite. I have you both in my prayers and thoughts. Love and Hugs, Dyan |

Thank you-Sheila ate Cream of Wheat and later dry toast. She can only eat 1 white bread made at Panera bread. It's not much, but it's a start. Thank you for continuing to keep us in your thoughts & prayers. Love & Hugs, Rich |
Sheila and Rich, I am hoping with more eating she can put on some weight and be able to have her surgery. Are there foods Sheila really likes and can have throughout the day? I have you both in my prayers. Love and Hugs, Dyan |

Thank you-she can eat baked chicken breast, but unfortunately, with LC, she has to eat very small meals. The foods that she really likes, are not allowed on the diet. :( She is making a better attempt to eat now. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. Love & Hugs, Rich |
I am so happy to hear Sheila is trying to eat a little. Give her my love. |

I don't think I could follow the limited LC diet. She sends you her love. Rich |
I'm so glad to hear Sheila is beginning to eat a bit... praying and sending Hugs and Love to you both. |

Sheila and Rich, I hope today finds Sheila continuing to eat and gain strength. You are in my prayers and thoughts. God Bless Love and Hugs, Dyan |
Just wanted to say I'm praying and thinking of Sheila today, hoping she's doing better and her day is going as well as possible and of course, including her devoted caregiver in those thoughts and prayers - you, Rich. God bless you two and I'm so grateful you have each other. You two are an inspiration and example of grace under pressure. |
