Wow, I'm so glad to hear of Sheila's progress eating, with her pain level and even accompanying you shopping! Little steps forward are wonderful and never to be taken too lightly, even if there is a step back occasionally. She's making real progress! I'm so hopeful this continues for her and she continues her up-turn. More prayers are always being said for God to keep watching over and guiding her toward every healing effort available.

I'm so glad you are okay, Rich, but be sure to take care of yourself, too, as you matter greatly also. (((((( Hugs all around!!! ))))))

My prayers for sweet Sheila. I am glad she got out of the home. I remember when I was getting cancer treatment I was housebound for about a year. What helped me was to just sit outside in the sun. Just getting out of the house really helps the mind to relax. I hope Sheila will have good days. She is surrounded by lots of love and angels ministering to her. Trials will make us strong if we let the Lord help us. Call on Him in times of trouble, He is a refuge and a stronghold for us! Blessings to both of you and your Yorkie too!

Thank you! Sheila is truly making progress.....it was great to see her willing to go out for a little while.

She actually is now saying to me, "I'm hungry", which for the longest time, when I offered to make something for her to eat, she would say, "Thank you, but I really don't feel like eating".

The Oxy has eased a lot of her back pain. Although, this morning, when she got up, she said to me, "I woke up, and found I was sleeping on my back, and that's not such a great idea".

Jeanie, Sheila & I both believe, that your prayers, and all of the prayers being offered by the members of YT, are the reason she is beginning to show improvement.

We're both so grateful for all of the prayers. One day soon, I think Sheila will be able to post. She answers e-mails, because she can type a few lines, save it to draft, etc.

Thank you, Jeanie-Sheila always tells me, that it is important for me to attend my monthly Retiree Breakfast.

P.S. Thursday, we are going to our closest friend's house for the day. Sheila has been best-friends with Terri since they were teenagers, and she and Terri's husband, share a birthday. They've known her longer than I've known her.

And I developed a close realtionship with them, too.

Thank you so much for your prayers for Sheila. I was happy when she said she would go out for a little while this week. She came home, exhausted, and she was still pretty tired the next day....but we both felt she made some progress.

Sandi, we truly understand being housebound for so long.

I wish the weather would warm up here in NW IN-Sheila would benefit from just sitting outside.

We're both so grateful that she is surrounded by the love & angels here in YT.

Sheila prays, that it is Our Lord's Will, that she get well enough to return to her Ministry.

Thank you so much for the blessings to us, but sadly, Sheila lost her little Kia a year ago February 28th.

Soon though, she will have another. She wants to be well enough, to be a good Mom, and take her places, the way she took Sydney & Kia. She took them everywhere.

Sheila has a request. She asks that everyone focus their prayers on Patti (Baby Blessing) and Jack.

She said she would feel so much better, if she knew that everyone would focus on them.

God answers prayers, and Sheila's biggest prayer it is God's Will, that Jack get better.

We all know, that doctors don't know everything, but, with God, all things are possible.

Sheila has her good days-then, she has her bad days. Yesterday & today, are bad days, but MS is unpredictable. She has learned, to lay on the couch on her bad days. She hates it, but knows the consequences of doing anything when she is in a flare.

She's really resting now so that she can go to her best-friends on Thursday.

Thank you-we enjoyed spending the day with our friends yesterday....until we learned that their oldest son had a house fire. Thankfully, the neighbors called the fire department, and they were able to rescue the dogs, but sadly, major damage was done to the house.

Sheila is down for the count today.

Oh wow! Praying for Sheila and your friend's son... how terrible! Glad the pups were saved!

Sheila and Rich, I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well today. I keep you in my prayers and thoughts for strength. I also am sorry to hear of your friend's son...a friend of mine had a house fire this week too. Thankfully her cats were saved but she was airlifted to a burn center...I don't know the details if it is for smoke inhalation or what. I don't know about her home if it is reparable. I ask you to say a prayer for her.

Thank you, for praying for Sheila and our friends son.

Tom & I were at their sons house, after the fire-it did a lot of damage. Tom had to call Terri for some information, and she and Sheila hurried over.

We were all so grateful that the neighbor let the dogs out of the house.

Sheila & Terri went shopping for some basic clothing for her son.

Sheila has been down for the count, since then.

We love their sons, as if they were our own.

So thankful to God, that he was at work, when the fire started, and the dogs are ok. It could have been so much worse.

Thank you for keeping Sheila in your thoughts & prayers for strength.

She's still down for the count today, but she did a lot on Thursday. I went with our friend, Tom, to their sons house, after the fire, and Sheila & Terri met us there.

Then, Sheila & Terri went shopping to buy her son some basic clothing.

The damage was pretty extensive. But we are thankful to God that their son was at work, and the neighbor let the dogs out of the house, as soon as he saw the fire.

We're both so sorry to hear that your friend had a house fire this week.

We're thankful her cats were saved, but very concerned that she had to be airlifted to a burn center.

Of course, we will keep her in our prayers.

Please let us know, how she is doing.

House fires cost so many lives, so we are thankful our friends son was at work, and we are thankful that your friend survived the fire.

Praying for good days for Sheila. I am so sorry about that fire but what was most precious was safe. All the rest can be replaced. We do not know why trials happen but we know we have the Lord to help us get through them.
I hope Sheila is eating little meals and gaining strength. I will keep her progress in my prayers. The Lord is so near and He will send comfort and healing to her.

Sheila asked me to ask your friends 1st name. She likes to say the names of each person, as we pray together each night.

Yes, house fires are terrifying, and we are all still thanking God that our friends son was not harmed and all 3 dogs were let out of the house.

Sheila is still in a great deal of pain, from all of the activity on Thursday, but she said she was so glad she was with her best-friend when she got the news and was able to help her shop.

Thank you for praying for good days for Sheila.

Thank you-yes, we agree 100%, the most precious were kept safe by Our Lord.

We are so grateful to Him, that He kept our friends son, safe, and all 3 of the dogs. The material things can be replaced.

Sheila always says, "None of us walk through this life unscathed", and we trust in Our Lord to see us through all of the trials of life.

Sheila is eating small amounts. She said she wishes she could hug every one that is praying for her.

She has been through so many health problems since 2005, and her faith never waivers.

She visited the sick in nursing homes, and the dying, in hospitals, and she said their faith, strengthened hers.

Thank you-Sheila realized she wasn't eating enough to combat the nausea that returned.

So, your prayers were answered-she is eating better again.

She said she is glad that you feel her hugs, and she definitely feels all of the hope of the members of YT.

She is still so in awe of everyone's kind thoughts, prayers for her.

She said to tell you that she is not remarkable, just truly blessed to have served Our Lord in Ministry, and she was so deeply touched by peoples faith, when she visited them in their homes, nursing homes, hospitals, and prays that it is His Will, that she returns to it.
