Sheila & I think your Bentley is very handsome. He and Moka made a wonderful couple! Sheila believes in donating. She said someones little Yorkie should wear these beautiful dresses & bows. I wish I knew how to upload pictures here. I'd love to show you a picture of Sheila & Kia, taken two years ago. Sheila said never in her worst nightmare, she never dreamed, 11 months later, she would lose her little Kia. Thank you, Dyan, for your continued prayers. We truly do feel the hugs surrounding us. After Kia died, Sheila didn't post anymore. So, she's very surprised and extremely touched that people are praying for her. We're both so grateful. Hugs to you, from Sheila & I. Rich |
dog Sheila, I am praying for you. May the healing power of Jesus surround you and comfort you as you go through this time of trials. Our life is in His hands. He knows our every move and He loves us more than a mother loves her child. More than a yorkie lover loves their Yorkie! We all must walk through valleys. I went through a horrible time with breast cancer and am still here serving my Savior. I do not know tomorrow but I know I serve a God who looks after me and has a heavenly place for me. Just live each day for the Lord. He will give you strength. Get all your affairs in order. I did. Then Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. Love to you! Sandy |

I read your post to Sheila. She asked me to thank you so much for your prayer. Sheila & I share a strong belief in Our Lord. Sheila's favorite poem is "Footprints". We're both so sorry that you went through a horrible time with breast cancer, and yes, your are still here, because of Our Lord. Her best-friends Mom had breast cancer 11 years ago, and it returned this year. She has been like a Mother to Sheila for 43 years. He has a plan for each of us. Sheila recently updated her Will, etc. And she is not afraid to die, because she knows that Our Lord has prepared a place for her. She does pray, that it is His Will, that she get well enough to return to her Ministry. And we both pray, that she will be well enough to re-new our Wedding Vows in our church on our 40th Anniversary next month. Love to you, from Sheila & I. Rich |
Rich, I am thinking of Sheila and keeping her in my prayers. Love and hugs to you both, Dyan |
dog Rich, your post touched my heart. I am thankful you and Sheila have faith because when our world falls apart before us where do we go? This life here has no immortality. We all will die but wait-we trust in Jesus and we will live. He promised this to us and we cling to that promise. Oh Lord help us all to let go of the things that really do not matter in this world and love You and those around us. To fix our eyes on You, Jesus who will take us to our home in heaven. I am praying for Sheila to look up, do not lose the hope we have. Not a sparrow falls to the ground without Him knowing about it and He is at Sheila's side along with His angels. Blessings to you both-I send love and comforting prayers. Rest knowing the Lord is in charge so we do not have to fear. |

Thank you. If we don't trust completely in Our Lord, who can we trust? No one. Sheila attended Catholic school all of her life, and the Sisters of Nazareth taught her, that life is like a short vacation. And that Eternity is never ending. Sheila's faith never fails. When she is in pain, she prays. And she says it eases her pain, to talk to Our Lord. And neither of us ever loses hope. Thank you for your love and comforting prayers. Sheila's favorite Psalm is Psalm 23. Rich |
Rich and Sheila, I am thinking of and praying for you both. Love and Hugs to you, Dyan |

Thank you so much for the positive thoughts. Sheila has had a very bad few days. Thank you for your very kind words-we've been married 40 years next month, and I believe, we were meant for each other. It hurts to see her suffer. She doesn't deserve it. Today is her birthday, and she spent the morning, in her room, grieving for Kia. We lost her last year, 13 days after Sheila's birthday. Exactly two years to the day, that we lost Sydney. The girls meant everything to her. Rich |

Sheila, I am so sorry that you are going through so much heartache. I pray each day that you will feel better, get stronger, and that your heart will heal, too. It has been a long time since I lost my beloveds Kiwi and Gracie within four months of each other. Time has erased some of the pain, but it still hurts. I lost their sister, Ashley, close to her seventeenth birthday in June 2010. I will always miss them, and I know the pain will never go away fully, but the most powerful emotion that I feel now for them and the little Yorkie I had before them is an overwhelming love and happiness from having them in our life and forever in our hearts. We were so lonely and empty without a little one in our lives for almost two years. Katie has been with us since Mothers Day 2012, and she has brought so much life back to our lives. We simply adore her. One little one can never replace another, but the heart expands again and is capable of loving so fully again. I hope another little one can bring you happiness and that your health improves. |
I am so very sorry for everything that is going on in your life right now. It pains me so read about your loss and that you are suffering. Praying that you find some comfort to ease your pain. Take care ! |
Please give Sheila birthday hug from me, Rich! Chris |
Happy Birthday Sheila! I hope you and Rich will enjoy your special day! Always in my prayers and sending healing thoughts to you. Love and Hugs, Dyan |
Happy Birthday, Sheila. Praying for better health and happiness in the coming year. |
Happy Birthday Shelia. Hope tomorrow is a better day. Sending hugs and prayers |
Happy Birthday Sheila. You have been through so much. I am sorry you are sad on your birthday grieving for your little one Kia. Hugs and prayers to you on your special day. |

She cried most of the day. A very dear friend of hers from FL called her later in the day, and they talked for hours. Sheila cried so much, her friend understands, because she has lost two Yorkies, and cried with her. We lost both our girls, two years apart, on the exact same day-February 28th. Sheila grieved so hard for so long, after we lost Sydney. She and Kia clung to each other. Sydney had adopted Kia as her "baby", so Kia was grieving, too. Her girls helped her deal with her MS, and it progressed with both of their deaths. We're both so sorry that that you lost your oldest Yorkie in December. It's a pain, that only other Yorkie lovers understand. We know that we will see our girls, again, in Heaven. God created these wonderful beings to be our companions, and we have a very loving Father in Heaven. We believe they are Angels in Heaven, just as they were our Angels on earth. Sheila is absolutely lost without her girls. Thank you for praying for us. And thank you for wishing us a Happy Anniversary next month. With my deepest gratitude, Rich |

Sheila asked me to thank you. She said the pain of losing our girls, is a pain that never goes away. It's a pain that you just learn to live with each day. Each "1st" without the girls, is so hard on her. She asked me to tell you, that she is so sorry that you lost your precious Kiwi and Gracie within 4 months of each other. And then, to lose their sister Ashley. She said it has been hard enough, losing Sydney and Kia, two years apart. We did get another Yorkie in September, but he had health issues we couldn't manage, with Sheila's health issues. The breeder has promised her another puppy later this year. He was actually easing some of her emotional pain, but we expected Sheila to have surgery and be in the hospital a very long time, and a long recovery at home....when she dropped down to 70#s, the surgeon said, "No surgery". Our house is far too empty without our girls. So, I am hoping the breeder will have a puppy for Sheila, soon. You're right, another puppy can't replace the ones we have lost, but they each have their own personalities, and Sheila truly loved the puppy I took back to the breeder. She cried so hard, the day I was getting ready to take him back, pleading with me, "Does he really have to go back?" If I had known, that the surgeon would refuse to do the surgery, I wouldn't have taken him back. I've only made it worse for her. But I know she will love another. We love them all, just differently. I'm happy to hear that you got little Katie. And she has eased the lonliness. We've had Yorkies, 30 of the almost 40 years we have been married. Rich |
