This is amazing news I have tears of joy for you Thank God for answering all our prayers.. You pup is going to be so excited to see him. And to have him home in time for all the holidays. :) :) :)

How wonderful!!!! Such great news! It's amazing what we take for granted!! Wishing you and Pat a wonderful home coming. I guess Christmas came early at your house. So glad that your prayers were answered:thumbup: Still sending positive thoughts, a bit wet though as the rain has started, from BC Canada:wavey::yelrotflm:bravo: This is what Zhoie is gonna be doing when Pat gets home!!:woof: Have a wonderful day together.

I know, I'm so excited, I can't contain myself and I get to tears of joy all the time too. I'm a little nervous, but we will be fine.

We will have a caregiver because Pat doesn't realize his safety limits, especially with the right side, which I'm sure is a blessing also.

Headed out to buy key locks for my bedroom door and it's mandatory for my office. I feel bad having to do that, but can't be helped.

Oh Happy Day! It has been a long hard road to travel, but you and Pat are almost home! Praise the Healing Powers of PRAYER! I wish I could be a fly on the wall and see the happy reunion of Pat and Zhoie .

Tena, I am so happy for y'all! I have waited right along with you for Pat to heal and be able to come home. It's been a long road but that journey is about to end and a new, exciting one is about to begin. God has been so good! I know Pat will be happy to be back home. I also know how happy you will be to have him back home and in your arms. I'm glad Pat has two sides because I have a feeling Zhoie will be stuck like glue to one of them! LOLOL We want another update when y'all get settled in. :)

Teena you and Pat have been through so much and it too gave me tears of joy to read your happy news. I am sure his progress will be even better once he is surround by his girls. I am sure Zhoie will be thrilled to have her daddy home. Congratulations, in my heart I was praying that Pat might be home for Thanksgiving. Sending prayers of thanks to God for this wonderful news and continued prayers for Pat's recovery.

HI everyone!

It's wonderful having Pat home and we now have a routine going. He's doing great, the daily changes in him is amazing to watch. Pat got his leg tube out last Thursday, which wasn't being used, it's good to have it out!

Pat is going to go to Robinwood Rehab in Hagerstown, MD 3 times a week.

It's a miracle the progress he has made in such a short time. He is so my Pat and back to himself, teasing and laughing. He'smadesuch progress the only reason he needs a companion is because if he has to go to the bathroom or whatever, he just stands up, not realizing he is still a fall risk

We had 24 hr around the clock shift companions, but this week I stopped them from 5:00 to 9:00 PM as they aren't needed. I get off work, Pat & I cook, we clean up and just hangout together for the evening until 9:00 comes in and it's bedtime, lolol.

We are cooking together on Thanksgiving and just spending the day relaxing. I cancelled companions for Thursday and Friday, no need.
