I have a wonderful idea for a Christmas present from Santa...one of those "Dragon" programs for your comnputer....you just talk and the machine writes what you say and you dont have to type!!!! That way, you can still enjoy communicating on YT without getting exhausted from trying to type! Although, a LITTLE typing and communicating would still be good therapy...hand / eye coordination, thought process challenges, etc.....Take care sweetie and rest....do what they tell you to do! (and tell my "cuz" he did a fine job taking care of you!) | Thank you, I've not heard of the Dragon program before. I'll have Jason check into it for me when he stops by later.
Also, I wanted to let you know, you have NO IDEA how much the research for the Neurologist's name and information helped my Son to be able to speak up and fight the hospital authorities these past few days. Jason brought your post up with Dr. J. Gebel's information to use as ammunition and demanded they contact him or a neurologist with equal qualifications. This is when we first heard they would bring in Dr. Susana Bowling, who knows and consults with Dr. Gebel. I also realized she's the neurologist who's seeing another relative with brain damage and I've been very impressed with her in his case since July.
Thank you, "Your Cuz", Jason and I we will be forever grateful. :) Quote:

Carla, I am so happy to hear that you are home and that your doctors agreed to in-home therapy. How sweet that your son told the neurologist that Yazmin is the best medicine for you! I would agree. Your son did a great job keeping us informed.
I am sorry I missed your posts last Friday afternoon when this started. It breaks my heart to think of how scared you were. :(
I am praying for your comfort and your strength, and a speedy recovery from this.
You have another package coming soon with the Les Poochs for Yazmin. :) | Awww Kristin, Thank you so much for caring. I've never felt so much love and support from such caring people in my life!
Who needs another Support Group when you have YT? :D
Many were there for me instantly and helped me through my worst fears with thoughts, prayers, and shared their own stories. I'm so grateful to everyone, I know it helped calm me down at that time, I knew I was not alone. :)
I was more worried when my Son read me your post because I knew you were going through so much with your father. I'm so happy to know he's now home with you and his grandsons, and will continue to pray for his health to improve. ;)
BTW, my BF helped me put Yazmin's PJ's on her last night, she's still wearing them and is cuddled next to now...sound a sleep. |
