Jason is such a fine young man--a real gem. Please let him know how much we appreciated his updates. We were so worried about you, and we could see by his posts how much he loves you. |
Oh, Carla, I'm on my way to bed just dead tired from holiday house cleaning and no part of my body doesn't hurt badly right now but, girl, you just made my day!!! I won't post anymore now I'm about to faint I'm so dead tired but I am just giddy happy to read the words you just typed. Praise the Lord and thank God to the highest for answers to prayer!!!!!!!!!!! I'm thrilled to death for you! Ohhhhhhhhhh, it's good to hear you are HOME! More tomorrow. Big hugs to that sweet Jason and little Yasmin and of course, to you. |
On my way to work....what a wonderful surprise to find you at home!!! I an thrilled with the outcome! Did they ever find out exactly what had happened Carla? Was it a problem within your heart or did it originate in your brain? Wherever, I am so happy with your recovery and that you were released to do your therapy at home! |
What a great update Carla! I know you are so proud of Jason he's a great son! So glad you're home. Continued prayers for you and Yorkie kisses for Yazmin!:) |
oh Carla I am so very glad! Puppy love will be the best treatment. I will say we were very worried for you and I so belive in the power of prayer!!! Please take it slow and do what you have to do to get better. Keep us posted and we will be here if you need to talk or just get ((hugs)). I was also impressed on the knowledge of our yt family... and glad to know we all have a source to turn to. Prayers and hugs to you and Jason |
I'm so happy that you are home! I pray you have a speedy recovery. You should be so very proud of your son. He is such a sweetheart. Sending hugs and prayers to both of you. |
Oh what great news to wake up to. So glad your home to heal. Jason has been amazing keeping us updated. You must tell him how much we all appreciated him. Now get yourself better and give yazmin tons of kisses as I know he will you. :) |
Thank you so much everyone for being here for me. I wish I could address everyone separately, but I'm still having continuous headaches so it makes it hard to type or look at the screen. Yorkiemom 1, Test show plaque broke away from my heart and went to my brain, causing 4 strokes. Dr. said this type of stroke will cause continued headaches and dizziness for approx. a month or so. Have numbness and weakness on left side of body. Will be high risk for other strokes during this time. Now on medications, bed rest, no work, no stress? Ha! My Son was there when they said impatient Re-Hab and could tell I was getting upset, informed them I would be more stressed if I weren't home soon with Yazmin and in my own environment. Out of no where, I couldn't believe what he told the Neurologist, "In her case, A Yorkie a day, helps keep the doctor away"! Lol. It worked, I'm waiting for my BF to get home with Meds and then he'll call the In-Home Care Service. Not sure who, but a medical service delivered a walker this morning. I appreciate everyone being so kind to my son also. At first he was very leery to type posts or replies, He said I better not mention to his friends that he was posting on a dog site. Lol. After he realized everyone here were genuinely concerned and trying to help us, it would be the first thing he would try and help me with by posting updates for me. I know I've left so many unanswered questions but this has taken me some time to type, I honestly can not Thank All of you enough for being there for me and my Son. Even though I'm still fairly new to YorkieTalk, I knew that after being rushed to two hospitals and being told there was nothing they could do to stop further strokes because of my veins, I knew YT members would be there for me to help me through my worst fear. I've seen your compassion for others, time and time again! Thank you ;) |
I am so glad to see your updates. Please do as they say and take it real easy. Chores etc can wait they will be there when you feel better. Jason is a great son! I know you are in good hands. Praying for a full and uneventful recovery. |
I have a wonderful idea for a Christmas present from Santa...one of those "Dragon" programs for your comnputer....you just talk and the machine writes what you say and you dont have to type!!!! That way, you can still enjoy communicating on YT without getting exhausted from trying to type! Although, a LITTLE typing and communicating would still be good therapy...hand / eye coordination, thought process challenges, etc.....Take care sweetie and rest....do what they tell you to do! (and tell my "cuz" he did a fine job taking care of you!) |
Carla, I am so happy to hear that you are home and that your doctors agreed to in-home therapy. How sweet that your son told the neurologist that Yazmin is the best medicine for you! I would agree. Your son did a great job keeping us informed. I am sorry I missed your posts last Friday afternoon when this started. It breaks my heart to think of how scared you were. :( I am praying for your comfort and your strength, and a speedy recovery from this. You have another package coming soon with the Les Poochs for Yazmin. :) |
It is wonderful to hear you are home. We have been so worried about you. Your son was great keeping us informed. He is great. Rest big hugs |
Okay now listen to everyone get some rest. We will be here when you need us But you need to take care of you first :) |
