OMG! Just now seeing this... praying hard for you, Carla, and Jason also that he can help you to get the care you need, and that God watches over you both. |
Just waking and wanted to see how Carla is doing. We're praying for your Carla. Stay strong, lady. We're all with you in spirit. |
Carla, you are in my thoughts and prayers and Jason too, as he takes care of you. |
checking in ...sending prayers I am so glad yt members gave good advice. I was so worried!! I do NOT like the "will call at home if there is another blood clot" at all!! I hope you get your mother moved |
Checking in too. I am hoping Carla is getting the best care. Good Thoughts and blessings |
You do have to ask question. I am in the hospital with hubby. Not near your issues. And at one of the best hospitals in the world. I know all to well how confusing it gets one team comes in tells you one thing another team comes in and tells you something totally different. Can become very very frustrating. Just make sure you feel she is getting the very best care and if not insist on it. I can not imagine how scared you both are. Again thank you so much for keeping us posted and sending prayers and hugs to both of you. Take care |
Checking in this morning. Praying that all will be ok. |
Carla, you are one of the people at YT that I have really grown to care about. I am so sorry that you are not feeling well. My heart and prayers are with you and Jason. Please know that we really care, are pulling for you, and we want you to get well. |
Jason, I am so sorry....your mom is in my prayers. Please tell her we are thinking of her and praying she will recover quickly and be home soon. I need to go back and read your updates again...I wanted to send a message quickly. Praying the specialists see her today. |
Carla, Sending you hugs. Praying for you, my sweet friend. Kristin |
Carla's family, Please advocate for your mom as I'm sure you are, don't let these folks intimidate you at the hospitals...they are there to do a job and you are their boss, remember that! You only have one Mom. Long story but I just want to say this, I am 47 years old and in 1989 I had a major stroke, very major, it took a couple years to recover fully and still have lasting effects...what I recall most was not being able to speak for myself and how helpless I felt, the confusion and the inability to put thoughts to words, I felt as if I was in a dream and wanted to scream out but I couldn't and everyone just kept talking to me and about me, and thank the lord that my ex had the sense to KNOW what was best for me, cuz I wasn't able to communicate it....had they had their way I would have been recovering in a "nursing home" far away from my children, we all adapted and while being at home and the regimen of physical therapy etc, was exhausting...all the many appointments...I survived under the care of my best friend (ex) and my small children...my point is that your mother knows whats going on but is having difficulty conveying it...please be aware of that... Carla, I am praying for you from the bottom of my heart honey, and when you can pm me I truly understand what your going through. Love and Prayers, Lynzy. |

It is so heartbreaking to think of the fear she was feeling when she typed that. I sure pray she\'s getting the absolute best of care now and the neuro\'s got themselves in there to check her last night! If they didn\'t, the waiting had to be horrible!!!!!!! |
