Thanks for the update.
Getting a second opinion is a good idea.
You and Ken are in my thoughts and prayers daily and for as long as needed.

Do you know if his PET Scan is the one that is combo of the CT/PET?
Yes the order says PET/CT but I didn't know what that meant. Is that more detailed? We have an appointment in downtown Chicago at 7:40 am Tuesday with a nurse coordinator and a medical oncologist. I sent them all his records and will get all the test discs to bring with.

Thanks so much for the continued prayers. I have moments of sheer panic but I am trying to stay positive.

It was so good to hear the bone scan was clear! YAY!! I also think a 2nd opinion from a bigger hospital is good, especially university hospitals. They are up on all the new stuff/treatments/procedures.

Yes, Patti it is way more detailed. This is one I always had when mine were done.
Just remeber to make sure he fast's before it is done or else FDG won't work in his system, they should check his blood sugar level before the infusion.
Prayers continue for Ken and you as well.

Thanks. I haven't told him the fasting part yet. Figured he had enough to deal with right now. He eats very weirdly and nothing that is on the list he can eat. We'll get through.

Thanks. Ken is having a lot of trouble sleeping since he can't breathe when laying down. I want to get him a recliner to see if that helps but he doesn't want one yet. Brain scan tomorrow and staples removed. Then second opinion Tuesday. We really appreciate all the prayers.
