I will have more news on Claire after tomorrow. I'm going to visit her tomorrow afternoon. I'll be sure to let her know how wonderful everyone has been with continous thoughts and prayers for her. Her daughter said she seemed a little better last night, so that's good news.

Hey! Just wanted to pop in and tell you guys how much your prayers, support and well wishes have meant to me! I can feel them even in the most difficult and painful moments and know that I have the most amazing friends on YT! I can only hope to get the chance to repay each of you some day! There is no real change today concerning my recovery! I am on some heavy duty pain meds and they are barely making a dent in the pain! I for the life of me do not understand why they sent me home In the first place after taking out 5 major organs!! They could have managed this pain in the hospital with IV pain meds which make all the difference after a major surgery! So I have been pretty incoherent the last few days (as you can imagine) and I will share a funny story...which proves sometimes you have to just laugh at yourself. So for the first 48 hours home I was in too much pain to sleep so Thursday afternoon rolls around and I finally out of sheer exhaustion fell asleep. Well I woke up with a start and saw it was 8 on the clock. Flew out of bed, grabbed my girls (6&4 years) and said "we are late! We have missed the bus! We have to get ready right now!!) got them completely dressed for school and I guess my oldest went out into the garage where my husband was on a work call and said "dad! Mom is dressing us for school!" so he came in and said "babe! It's 8PM at NIGHT!!" we had a laugh but boy do these drugs screw with your head! Yikes! So I'm just at home trying everything possible to get the pain under control and not be frustrated with all the effort it takes to do simple things! I have a wonderful DH, and a nanny who are taking care of everything I would normally do! Please continue to pray for complete healing and a speedy recovery! I adore each of you and thank you for looking out for me and thinking of me! Please tell Claire I am thinking of her and praying for her daily too! Much love!

Five major organs and they let you go home the next day? How's that even possible? I knew insurance was getting stingy, but that's really ridiculous. Hope you are ok.

Carol, thanks so much for letting us know how Claire doing, I know she's been suffering for nearly a month, and hopefully she will now start to mend. Sending prayers, and Claire is so lucky to have you for a friend!

Mary, I am glad you were able to come on and let us know how you are doing. Praying each hour your pain lessens.

Mary, thank you so much for posting, praying your pain has eased up and that you will be feeling all well real soon. Your husband sounds terrific, such a blessing to have help. Please take it easy, knowing you have small children that isn't easy but you need to. Please keep us updated here on how you are doing.

Carol, thank you for letting us know how Claire is doing, I look forward to hearing Claire is doing much better, please give her a gentle hug when you see her for Jack and Myself.

Claire looks better than she did before her surgery. She is pretty pale, but she not in constant pain..only when she moves.

They won't let her go home until she eats solid foods. They won't let her have solid foods until, [pardon me] she gets rid of some of the gas that's rolling around in there. They are afraid she won't be able to keep her food down. I played nurse today and strongly suggested that we take a little walk. It did help. I asked her to please make sure she walks a couple of times a day with the nurse’s help. I wish I lived close so that I could go and make sure she does walk often. I also asked her DH to get her up if he can. She wanted me to be sure to tell everyone she is so grateful and appreciates all of your prayers and concern. She said, “I never knew I had so many wonderful friends.”

I thank all of you as well. It’s so nice to know people really do care. I’ll keep you updated. Thank you friends.

This brought tears of happiness to my eyes! Day by day she'll improve and you're right about her walking, Carol. She needs to at least twice a day or more if possible. She's a dear soul that I would love to meet someday.

Oh my dear ladies, get well soon and God bless you. Mary and Claire, I know these are trying times. It is so discourageing to have chronic pain, God will meet you where you are and lift your spirits and guide you out of the valley. I've never been where you are and my heart just goes out to you both. Recovery is worth every single tiny step forward. Keep the Son in your eyes, both of you darlings.
