I see Patti hasn't updated yet, so I'll tell you what I know. The cat scan shows the stents are clogged up and he will definitely need something done. They wanted to admit him, but on the weekend, there is no thoracic surgeon there, so they figured it was no sense spending a couple of days in the hospital where nothing much would be done. Patti can tell you more, but I know some of you may be wondering, so I just thought I'd post. Poor Patti is so shook up! I feel so bad for both of them. Please pray that this can be taken care of quickly and successfully and they can then take their trip to Arizona, which was to be next week, but now will be postponed.

Thanks everyone for the prayers and my dear Connie for everything. I had to go take care of my Dad so I am just getting home now. As Connie said his abdominal aortic stents (3) are blocked and clots forming, they wanted to admit him and put him on heprin blood thinner but with no vascular surgeon in on the weekend he was going to check out against medical advice. I asked the er doctor if she could call his old vascular surgeon to see what he said and she did and he felt that it was ok, for him to go home, go to AZ on Tuesday for the 2 days and come in and see him when we got back as he said this has probably been going on for awhile. They did say there was always a risk. We are leaning towards not going to Az but will decide for sure tomorrow and cancel all the reservations. So please keep him in your prayers to get through this safely. Thanks

Thanks everyone. He is still in a lot of pain, for some reason they never gave him any thing for his back pain. So we cancelled the trip as he is not feeling well and I am hoping to get him to the vascular surgeon as soon as we can. My husband is on vacation this week so I would like to get him started this week. Also he keeps changing his mind about going to the doctor, which means he will have a stroke or die so I am praying the doctor will have an opening early this week. Please keep the prayers coming as we have a ways to go on this journey.
