I am keeping Jack and Patti in my prayers. I hope someone can stay with Patti until her daughter's get there.

Oh Patti you and Jack are in my prayers. This must be so scary. It seems there is a black cloud over a lot of people this week. Best wishes to you both and your daughters. I'm sure Jack will make it through this, I just know it. Lots of love and hugs!

Patti, you and Jack are in my thoughts and prayers. I will be tuned in to this thread for updates. I pray that God gives the doctors and surgeons the knowledge and ability to successfully perform the surgery, and that HE gives Jack complete healing. And I pray fo strength and comfort for Patti.

I am just now seeing this as I popped on to check to see if there was an update on her friend Nancy only to see what happened to Jack.

I am so sorry this has happened. I will be praying for Jack and for you Patti. You have a lot of prayer warriors here for you.

I talked to our dear Patti about an hour ago...then got company, so I couldn't post until now. Jack is not in surgery yet. The surgeon told Patti she wants to wait and give him one more cat scan at 6:00 this evening and then possibly proceed with surgery. She told Patti to go home for a while and get some rest, because there is nothing she can do right now...that Jack will be watched closely and she will call Patti if there is any change or if she ends up taking him into surgery. She told Patti that if Jack pulls through this, that there is brain damage and there will be many long, hard months ahead. Patti is so glad her daughters will be there tonight and her son, Scott...she was going to call him to let him know what's happening and I'm sure he'll be there too. Patti's daughter's are both RN's so they will take turns being with their Dad. This is so heartbreaking. Let's all pray for a miracle and for a complete and total healing!

Connie, thank you so much for the update. I will continue prayers. We need to have a round the clock prayer session -- having someone on their knees until Jack is through surgery and/or "out of danger".

What does everyone think?
