Urgent prayer needed for Jack (Baby Blessing) - Page 17 - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Update regarding Jack, was to Dr. this morning as he is allergic to meds. The last two nights have been sleepless and rough going. He is seeing the Cardiologist sooner and they are doing the CT Scann sooner than was planned. The Neuro Surgeon did say that it may be neccessary to do surgery within the first four months, I believe that is to relieve the pressure.

Jack is eating real good and his vitals have been good. I best am able to explain his condition at this present time as our family physician said this morning, he is like a child having to learn all over again.

I know that no matter what we are going to do fine and that the Lord will provide the neccessary people in our lifes to help us with his learning and already I have been working with him on this. He is such a sweetheart.
Through life and rough times I've always said, "thank God for what we have and don't ...........it could be so much worse, those words have followed me through my life time and still do. I AM BELEVING with every bit of my being that things are going to greatly improve, I am claiming this to come to be.

God is so good and HE so is providing me with the strength I need. I just want to thank you all again and to let you all know how much your prayers are appeciated and the love shown to us through messages and pm's. I haven't had time to read the postings here yet, but one day I shall, thank you all for posting to us.

Brenda, furbaby Deucy's Mom, has helped me with getting in touch with group over the internet for those with brain and head injuries. I am so grateful for that.

Patti, thank you so much for the update. You and Jack are both in my prayers. I hope you are still getting some help at home and that you are taking care of yourself also. I pray that Jack will get all the care he needs from the doctors. After what my daughter, Michelle, went through after her brain surgery I can tell you that all doctors are not equal and doctors don't always agree on what this the best course of treatment. Thankfully for Michelle, after seeing many surgeons and nearly a year of surgeries, Michelle finally was able to get a surgeon that could do the surgery right and Michelle's head finally healed. The power of prayer is remarkable, never give up. We are all sending healing prayers for Jack. Hugs.

Connie I am so thankful to you for starting prayer thread on our behalf.

I have just now been able to sit and read everyones messages, oh my gosh, I am so overwhelmed, as I sat here reading each message I can feel surrounded by your love, I give thanks to the Lord for each of you in our lives, I want to thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart........Jack and I are so very Blessed to have you all in our lives.

I am doing okay, God is providing me with an abundance of strength to take care of Jack. I am claiming God's healing powers to be for him and will never give up on that. It is wonderful to have Jack home where he belongs, I would not have it any other way, God has so provided for me to be able to give him my constant care. I am managing fine, and God is seeing to it that I do. It is one day at a time, I am going to claim that one day Jack will be able to read each of your messages and he will be thanking each of you himself.

God Bless You all and thank you so much for being all that God wants us to be, LOVE IS THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL.

Sure want to thank you all for your continued prayers for Jack, yesterday (Sunday) was not a good day, hopefully he can get the CT done today, he has an apointment to see his Cardiologist tomorrow (Tuesday). He still is breaking out in the hives and I have felt it is his PD Meds. I am requesting blood work up today and understand tests can be done to see if he is allergic to the meds.

I know it is through all your prayers and others that I am able to care for Jack and be right here for him all the time. Sometimes a feeling of helplessness comes over me and then I tell myself," God is in control and with so many praying for him, I won't accept anything less than to claim the best outcome." I appreciate you all so much, your prayers and those of others will continue to keep me strong and God will never let me grow weary or lack anything else but to be postive for Jack. Thank you all so much again.

Hi Patti,I hope you both are doing ok, I know how difficult it is,I use to work in the health ais business and no how tiring it is especially when its your own.It could be the meds. I got hives from meds before.Thinking of you both all the time,if we only could turn back time.I know Patti, you are doing a great job, but try to take sometime little time for yourself.Think of both of you often and pray you will have peace back in your life and Jack will gett all better. Love to you both.,Connoe has made some beautiful dress for April I am so glad I found her,she also is a wonderful person, I know she worries about the two of you,what a good friend you are to each other.Jack and you are still in my prayers,Love to you both, Claire

Poor Jack, now hives? Those buggers itch so much.

I took Jack today to Heart Surgeon for follow up, he goes back again Thursday afternoon for recheck of the pacemaker, the Dr. will also be there. He also has apointment with the Neuro Surgeon Thursday morning.
I learned today that he has a dual chamber pacemaker. Heart Surgeon also believes that it is Jack's meds Sinamet for Parkinsons that is causing the hives.

God is so wonderful....... the Heart Specialist told me that morning he awoke at 4:00 A.M. not being able to sleep he decided to get ready and go to the hospital to check on his patients at 5:00 instead of the usual morning time.
When he got to the hospital he noticed that Jack was having severe problem with his heart and immediately rushed him into ICU/CCU and then called in the Neuro Surgeon they did Stat Brain CT Scan to make sure there was no new bleeding (which could have caused the heart problem) when it was determined there was no new bleeding they immediately rushed him into surgery to put the pacemaker in or Jack wouldn't have made it.
Jackie and I was with him in CCU while they were waiting to get the stat results on the CT scan, that was another most frightening time of our lives, I just thank the Lord that this Dr. awoke that morning and decided to go in early, I truely believe too, as the Dr. himself said today that his awaking early and going in to the hospital at that time, was an act of God.

I know it is through all the many wonderful people praying that God guided this wonderful Physician to be there for Jack, once more, another miracle we have witnessed in our lives. I want to also mention that Jack hadn't had any heart problem before and didn't even know this Dr. but we know of the group he is with and they are very highly well known for being tops in Cardiology.

I want to thank you all for your continued prayers for Jack and myself, I am so grateful to each of you for them.

Jack will be starting outpatient therapies after the evaluations to see what will be needed. I have been recommended to take him to a private facility by a lady whose daughter had severe brain injury and she says they are fantastic, so once again another miracle in being led to not having to question or make the decision on where am I going to take him for his therapies.
