Well, it looks like Michelle will be having another surgery. The cat scan showed that fluids are building up in her neck and head. Michelle said the pressure is getting unbearable and she continues to throw up fluids. She said her stomach hurt really bad. The doctors are going to have a meeting and try to decide what to do. It appears that the shunt is not working anymore. The doctors just cannot believe all the problems Michelle has been having. I pray they can come up with something that will ease her pain and let her lead a normal life. Thank you all for your continued prayers. |
It's hard to believe your poor daughter is still suffering with pain. Continued prayer's are coming for Michelle. There has to be something they can do for this poor woman. I am so sorry she is not doing better. They say it has to get worse before it get's better. Hopefully the worse is behind her and only the better part is ahead. :ghug::hands: |
Barbara, I wish I had words to help you through this difficult time for you all but I am lost for words as I imagine you both are trying to console each other. God's way is hard to understand sometimes, I just hope he keeps you both close to his heart. Hugs, Joan |

It is heartbreaking that even the doctors have been baffled - praying that God guides them in correcting things for Michelle. Is there a date set for her surgery? I love how you said for to be able to lead a normal life - how often we all take our normal life for granted, Michelle's ongoing illness puts that in such perspective. Lord, we pray that you bless Michelle and put your healing hands upon her, we know that she gives you all the glory. |
I think of Michelle and you so much and pray that she be healed. I feel so bad to think of all the pain and suffering she's been through for so long now and I'll be praying that this next surgery she will get relief and be free of pain and well! That poor girl so deserves that. Hugs to you. |
When I talked to Michelle last night she had not heard from the doctors since yesterday afternoon. She is on standby for surgery. She has not had any food since Tuesday but she is on an iv. She cannot even keep water down. As long as she lies perfectly still she is not in as much pain. Hopefully we will know something today. Thank you all so much for your well wishes and prayers. |
