:giftbox: I pray that things go well for Michelle this year. She has been though so much in this last year. May it be a "Happy New Year" for Michelle and her family. |
I am hoping for a much better year for all of youl. |
Sadly, Michelle is back in the hospital. David called me around 9:30 tonight and he said that she had been in so much pain and feeling so sick that she could not handle it and she felt she needed to be in the hospital. I pray the doctors can do something to help her. |
Just checking for an update on Michelle. I am so terribly sorry. You have all been through so much. I will certainly continue to pray for Michelle. God bless you all. |

Please know I am continuing to pray for Michelle. May she get the relief she needs. Praying the doctors and nurses can help her manage the pain better, and really know what is going on. I was really hoping for a better start to 2009 for all of you, as I know you were too. You are in my thoughts & prayers too. |
i am sorry to hear. i will definately be praying for her!! |
Oh my, I am so sorry to hear that Michelle's return home was only for a short time. I will pray that the doctors can do something to ease her pain and suffering; she has been through far to much already. |
Oh no. She has been so much, she needs a big break. I will continue to keep her in my prayers |
My heart goes out to you & your daughter. My family knows all to well the feelings you have when being diagnosed with a brain tumor. My baby sister with a hemangio-perasytoma at the age of nine, and my mother with a mengianoma at 59. My thoughts and prayers are with you. |
Thanks to all of you for your continued prayers and well wishes. The doctors sent Michelle home today. She is still in pain but the vomiting has pretty much stopped, at least for now. We are a bit disappointed in the treatment she received this last time. The doctors feel that her stomach problems are from the surgery and all the medications she has been on. They did put her on a medicine for her stomach and that seems the be helping. She is still having problems with the levels of the cerebrospinal fluid in her head. The doctors think the lining inside her head has not healed yet. They do not want to do anymore surgeries at this time. They want to just see Michelle every two weeks and after two months, if she is still having feeling bad then they will consider doing something else. The doctor are wanting Michelle to take morphine tablets for pain but she is not really wanting to do that because of the side effects and possible addiction. If the pain gets too bad like it was before then she might have to take them. I just pray that she will start to heal. Thank you all so much for remembering Michelle in your prayers. Hugs to all. |
I am so sorry that Michelle is not receiving the best treatment. I can't even imagine how trying this entire situation is. I'm not a medicine person either - so I understand why Michelle does not want to take the morphine. I will pray that her body just has time to heal and that the pain subsides, so she can remain strong without the medication. May she can get the rest she needs at home. Hugs to both of you  |
I was so sorry to read this. I will put her in my prayers. I have a niece that is 4 now that was tx for brain cancer. I know God answers prayers and she is just one proof of that. I pray that your daughter will be yet another proof!:angelyork |
