How is Michelle doing? Is she able to get enough rest with her busy family?

Michelle started feeling bad after she got home on Monday. They changed her pain medicine to tylenol with codeine and it made her sick. She went to her clininc on Wednesday and they gave her a different pain medicine and also they gave her ibuprofin to help with the swelling of the neck. As of yesterday she was feeling better but she just cannot move her neck very well. She is glad to be home. It is less stressful on the whole family since David, her husband, does not have to make the long drive everyday to the hospital. Michelle will find out the results of the biopsy when she goes back to the doctor on the 18th.

I just found this section and wanted to see how she is too - I'm thankful for you all that she's home...

All the best to her on the 18th ....I know it must seem like ages waiting for results. How are her spirits ??

Michelle is just in fairly good spirits. Of course she is happy to be home with her family and she is happy to be able to go to her church and visit with friends. She is disappointed that she is still very stiff and not able to do much. We just keep telling her she is doing great and she is making great progress. It just will take time for her to heal. She is also having difficulty sleeping at night. She said her head hurts her a lot then. I with all the wonderful pray and support she is receiving I know that she will be fine. She just has to be patient.

so glad Michelle is surrounded with great support. Have the doctors given her guidance for sleeping - like raising her head or sleeping in a recliner? She remains in my prayers. Praying to she will give herself creidt for how far and how fast after the surgery she has come

So glad to hear of Michelle's progress. Being home should help her recovery alot. Prayers will continue coming for her continued recovery and good results on the 18th.
